Massive Freedom Cartoon. The new Hulu season is really good by the way.

Their mnemonic devices for the presidents and the states/capitals were good, but the countries one left a lot to be desired.

Decent, but the spin-off went on to take over the animation world.

A brilliant show.  I'll have to check out the new one on Hulu.

I haven't watched the 2020 revival but this show was a childhood favorite of mine, especially Pinky and the Brain.

Massive freedom cartoon, loved it as a kid in the 90s.

I watched a couple episodes of the reboot so far and it's pretty obvious they know their audience is now in its 30s lol. LOTS of meta jokes, cultural references, and "adult" humor that there is no way kids would get, even more than I remember there being in the original. They also brought back Bill Clinton to play the sax in the first one!

Absolutely love Animaniacs. Definitely the best and most intelligent cartoon in the classic style.

Its silly, but I can't get the Baloney & Friends sketch out of my mind. My sister has Down Syndrome and has watched Barney her entire life, so I have of course watched more Barney than you should consume in more than 10 lifetimes. So seeing them make fun of Barney and drop anvils on him it just makes me bend over in laughter.

Massive freedom cartoon, and I cannot overstate that enough.

I've always loved this show as a child. I've been binging it on Hulu, and it's still so good after 22 years. It's a show that's transformed my sense of humor, and I'm so so so glad to see it breathe new life in the 2020 version. I've been going nuts about the fact that the series is coming back, and I'm glad to see my favorite childhood cartoon returning once more. I cannot emphasize how happy I am at this thing coming back. Thank you, Spielberg!

Oh, by the way, Wakko Warner is pretty much my spirit animal. Always has been, and always will be. Yakko and Dot are amazing in their own right, but nobody crushes Wakko. Bonus points because of that one comic which technically confirms he's canonically enby.

Animaniacs' original run - A+. The reboot? A-. Both are very watchable.
Brilliant show.

Did you see the "Bun Control" one? It's brilliant, and what it's really about would make no sense whatsoever to kids. Also there's an episode where Pinky and the Brain meet Edward Snowden, LMAO.

Can you get us a clip of Pinky and the Brain meeting Edward Snowden, by chance?

Agreed, but the song itself is just so creatively written. I forget the name of the show's composer but he was always great! It's a shame he past away because that is almost certainly one thing the reboot is lacking in.

However, eventually a song about the American Presidents eventually replaced this one as my go-to for remembering the Presidents. It was some song from Nickelodeon during the 2004 election when they were trying to civically engage kids:

"Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monro, Adams-the second guy's son!...Chester Alan Arthur with his weird facial hair! Cleveland, Harrison, McKinley, Roosevelt, William Howard Taft with his belly out to there!"

I found it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN9IeT3msAA

It's a lot simpler than the Animaniacs one.

You saw this joke then though. Classic subtle stuff for the adults.

LMAO, one episode's Pinky & The Brain clip is a parody of Run, Lola, Run, a 20+ year old foreign language film. This show always did and still does go way beyond the standard adult references in kid shows.
