Does Brian Kemp face a serious primary challenge because he agreed to certify the 2020 election results?

People might just forget about it, like how Cruz was supposed to face a primary for his RNC speech but never did. Cruz did endorse Trump though, I'm not sure what Kemp can do to make up for his perceived disloyalty. Get in his truck perhaps...

Doug Collins will be out of work come January. He didn't seek re-election to his safe house seat, because he wanted to challenge Loeffler in the special.

If Warnock wins, he will of course want to challenge him in 2022.

However, if Loeffler wins, he could try and primary Kemp.

Doug Collins harbors a lot of resentment for Brian Kemp. He was angry Kemp appointed Loeffler to serve in the Isakson seat. He felt entitled to that senate seat.

He's quite a nasty thing. I prefer Loeffler to him.

I doubt it. The Republican Party probably (correctly) realizes he's probably the one who can win most easily. He can easily switch from his trucks-and-guns 2018 campaign to touting his moderate record in the state senate (in the hope of winning back suburbs, which by 2022 will have moved even further left).

A Collins vs. Abrams race would be quite something, as the two are known to have had a fairly good relationship.

Likely yes. I would never have expected a Republican primary in which Kemp is likely the lesser of two evils. Anyway, it may weaken him in Stacey Abrams's second quest for the governor's chair. Or Republicans abandon Kemp and send up a complete lunatic for the general election.

Probably after Trump attacked him so publically and he said he was ashamed he endorsed Trump MTG seems possible but she might be more focused on running for reelection Dewine also probably faces a challenger too

Who's gonna tell him it was because Doug Collins exists?
