Aside from the fact that this is incredibly dumb, are vaccines even ever named after people?
IIRC, it was the Polio Vaccine, not the Saulk Vaccine.
The two polio vaccines were commonly referred to by the name of the developers. Salk Vaccine and Sabin Vaccine. This may have been due to the different ways of administering, since the Salk Vaccine was injected and the Sabin Vaccine was oral (swallowing a sugar cube).
