I really hoped I wouldn't have to imagine this.Biden has narrowly won a majority of the vote in Pennsylvania. He will start with a commanding 269 electoral votes, enough for him to automatically win if he wins any one state in the second round. President Trump has 217.
In the Senate, 4 seats remain to be decided. Minnesota, North Carolina, and both of Georgia's seats will be decided in the runoff for 2021. Currently there are 49 Republicans and 47 Democrats after the first round. Most expect Democrats to pick up seat #48 from Minnesota which will not participate in the Presidential Runoff, but the other two states are and will see higher turnout.
All gubernatorial elections held this year have been decided in the first round.
