I am completely unaware of the validity of the Buffalo Chronicle, but it's a local news site that also reported the rumors of Romney being asked to lead HHS by Biden, and Buffalo's Rep. Brian Higgins as primarying Rep. Nancy Pelosi for the Democratic House speakership, so who knows. I found it laughable nonetheless. (They also reported that Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown had expressed interest in jumping in the Democratic Primary - even long after Buttigieg clogged the whole "rust belt Mayor" lane)

They seem to be US politics' equivalent of those amateur NHL/NBA/NFL/MLB sites who break stories that they're "just so lucky" that nobody else has - almost none of which come true.

However, WNY has some personal and business ties to Roger Stone, so who knows.

https://buffalochronicle.com/2020/11/19/roger-stone-trump-needs-five-democrat-votes-to-be-elected-speaker-of-the-house/

"If Trump is able to secure the 218 votes, it would be the first time in American history that a former President serves as the Speaker of the House — an extraordinary political feat unto itself."

"Stone believes that Rep. Brian Higgins (D – Buffalo), Rep. Joe Morelle (D – Rochester), Rep. Tim Ryan (D – Akron), and a few others representing legacy industrial cities, could be convinced to back Trump with the commitment that his agenda will make the Midwest’s industrial revival priority number one during his Speakership."

"Alternatively, Stone postulates, that Trump could secure the five votes from a handful of Hispanic Democrats who represent communities along the southern border — but only if Trump promises to deliver comprehensive immigration reform, which is something that Pelosi has been utterly unable to deliver."

The Buffalo Chronicle has frequently published false & unsubstantiated conspiracy theories, often aimed at politicians in New York State, the U.S., & Canada.

Quite literally, it is fake news.

This was my thought but I like a good laugh every now and then.

"Alexandria...Alex...Sandy...you're fired. Get away from the podium. (loudly bangs gavel) Move. Out. Arms? Arms guy? Get 'er outta here, out! Back to mommy!"
