Donald Trump strictly because I want to see what that would be like.

Alex Trebek should get out of his comfy coffin and do it.  The lazy Canadian bum still has two years left on his contract.

Ken Jennings.  It would be the perfect transition from GOAT player to host.

It has to be Ken Jennings.

Donald Trump strictly because I want to see what that would be like.

It would be intolerable. He would act as if he actually knew the answer when correcting contestants.

One of Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter or James Holzhauer would be my pick.

Jeff Probst, host of rock and roll Jeopardy.

It would allow him to hand off Survivor to someone not obsessed with #advantages

This. I really hate this trend of "popular" celebrities taking over rebooted crappy tv game shows. Trebek running Jeopardy was something different. Something pure. I want someone worthy of the position, not just someone famous. The only people that seem worthy of following Trebek are the super champions.

What about former contestant Austin Rodgers? He had a really good run on the show and he was pretty funny.

Of the celebrities, I actually don't mind the idea of LeVar Burton. He's a beloved American icon who's passionate about learning and has the on-camera experience and presence to run a show, unlike the former contestants. And he's not a know-it-all asshole like Tyson. But if Jennings wants it, he should be given the chance.

Jennings is the very obvious choice if you ask me.

Trump is obviously never gonna happen but man that would be... something. Completely botches reading every clue, exclaims “Most people don’t know that” after every easy answer and “No, that’s not right, believe me” after every hard answer that he incorrectly thinks is wrong.

Levar Burton is perfect. He has just the right kind of dignified, authoritative presence like Alex had. I'm a huge fan, but Ken seems like too much of a typical "nerd". The contestants can be like that but not the host.

Have you actually watched Ken Jennings play on Jeopardy?

He's shown he has a damn good sense of humor.

Here's an example.

I've seen/heard him (Jennings) on several things outside of Jeapardy! and he's always come across as funny and likeable.

Ken is a likable guy but he doesn't have the old-fashioned broadcaster gravitas you get from Alex. I like that.

So...you want Chris Wallace hosting Jeopardy.

He’d be as good at hosting Jeopardy as Trebek did moderating a debate. At least Alex was able to host a show good.
