Did Sanders resign before or after Phil Scott taking office?

Wow, looks like Bernie will be able to the first president since Reagan to get three justices through in two years.

Wow, very surprised Northam won but I guess Sanders having a good Charlottesville response changes things.

Midterms are going to be really rough with president Bernie. I could see the Rs getting a 60 seat majority. If I was Bernie, I’d get Breyer to retire NOW.

7/1/2017: Justice Ginsburg Retires, Patricia Ann Millett Confirmed 53-47
I'm more concerned about Breyer at this point.

Ginsburg already retired and was replaced by Millett. Breyer for now is still on the Supreme Court. The liberals hold a rough 5-4 majority.
Yeah, I meant Breyer don’t know why I posted Ginsburg. I had just forgot which of the two already retired in this TL.

Is Bernie endorsing progressive down ballot candidates like AOC, Sema Hernandez, Lisa McCormick etc. or is he mostly falling in line with the establishment?

As a bit of a sidenote, how did the Supreme Court rule in Rucho v. Common Cause with a D majority? That could really shake up the upcoming 2020 elections if they deemed partisan gerrymandering unconstitutional.
