Hi y'all, where do you plan to view election night coverage?  I'm going to go with MSNBC.  I love their music/graphics and Steve Kornacki's analysis.  How about everyone else?

I would in theory like to watch CNN because they usually do great with the exit poll data and breaking it down, but their panels are incredibly dreadful these days so I think I may just have to stick with MSNBC.

If only John King and Kornacki could just do a special together and that would be it. More data, less punditry!

I plan to leave the TV off, too distracting and adds no info I can't find online. Any calls are tweeted 20 times into my timeline within seconds.

MSNBC for Kornacki, although not particularly pleased with the election night lineup compared to past elections. Williams at least had the veneer of being nonpartisan, and Matthews could always surprise you with a take out of left field. Maddow, Wallace, and Reid basically will all be saying the same thing over and over.

Whatever the watch party at my university turns on. Hopefully it's MSNBC - Kornacki's pretty cool.

I usually stick with CNN because they have the most entertaining on-screen visuals that range from helpful and informative (John King on the magic wall) to downright insane (field reporters trapped in a hologram prison for no reason).

Going into blackout mode (and with luck I'll be able to avoid this site tomorrow evening/overnight) rather than spending 12 hours watching the slow motion train wreck that'll happen

It'll be easier to digest if I distract myself and check it when I wake up Wednesday even though I'm already expecting a huge sweep beforehand.

How is Decision Desk's YouTube livestreams? I might try them out alongside my usual watching of CNN.

I don't have cable but was able to watch NBC in 2020 on youtube, which was fine.  This year, though, I got a free trial for Youtube TV, so I'll be able to watch MSNBC.

I've never watched their streams but their site with the map and returns has always been user friendly and usually one of the most up to date

I really wish MSNBC had an option for a Kornacki Cam where it's just him all night.  As soon as Joe Scarburrow or Rachel Maddow start talking I feel like I need to go to the bathroom and it's NOT the election night pizza.  Unamused

I'm heading down to the local aggie democrat watch party so presumably whatever they put up, if it's actually going to happen.

Just watching the maps color in on NYT...just like 2020.  I'll get the do what I can to get the map to 10 EST and post it here next week when I get my computer back.    Maybe BBC or SkyNews if I want sounds.

Is PBS doing anything? The cable networks are revolting.

Atlas Blog, NYT/Politico results pages (maybe DDHQ if that's fastest).

I'll probably have Twitter open on my phone for #hottakes from election twitter.

Honestly I'm too stressed out by exams and other classwork to bother putting another layer on myself tomorrow. I plan to turn all my notifications off and just wake up to see the map. I'll be expecting the worst, I guess.

Dunno. A while back Nate Cohn hinted they were working on a version of the Needle, but I haven’t seen anything else on it.

CNN muted (for the most part) on the TV and whatever websites are reporting the fastest for each state, though I usually start with CNN.

Probably going to be hoping between discords, not sure how I want to handle that aspect yet.
