Assuming Trump does not run, Pompeo knows that he is going to need Trump's endorsement in 2024. He will do anything to get that endorsement -- even if it means undermining the very foundations of our democracy by indulging in dangerous conspiracies theories about the 2020 election being stolen. Every other GOP candidate is likely going to find themselves in the same boat. I expect Republicans unwilling to debase themselves, perhaps like Haley or Rubio, will take a knee on 2024. If they think they can win the nomination without bending the knee on conspiracy theories, they will soon realize it is impossible. Barring something cataclysmic that undermines Trump's appeal, the GOP base will not tolerate anyone questioning Trump.

Hopefully the race to the bottom poisons the well for the GOP's efforts to win the presidency in 2024. I think undermining faith in the democracy will not play well with the entire Republican party, as Jessica and Santander are showing. Perhaps the 'Never Trump' faction will slightly grow its ranks over the next four years.

I'm sorry, then why the hell did Trump supporters celebrate ater the media declared him the winner in 2016? It took a day (less even) For Hillary to concede. It has now been 4-5 days since Biden was declared the winner, and Trump is having a full-blown temper tantrum.

So if the gerrymandered legislatures override the votes of the people to install pro-Trump electors, will you support or oppose a system where it's impossible for one party to ever lose?

I would (1) disagree with a legislature doing anything like that if it was clear that's what they were doing, but (2) it wouldn't make it impossible for one party to ever lose, since that party would likely damage their future prospects with such an act and the other party could adapt and recruit more competitive candidates, and (3) if it is found to have followed both the state and federal Constitutions, I would accept the resulting government as legitimate.

They don't want all the votes counted. They sued to not count one single mail in vote in Pennsylvania. Trump demanded the count stop on election night and that he be immediately declared the winner. They constantly filed lawsuits to stop the count all through the week of the election. Go suck Trump's dick somewhere else.
