Sherrod Brown/Catherine Cortez Masto 2024
Schedule for Sherrod Brown, June 1-15 2024

June 1-8: Campaign in Michigan with Governor Whitmer and Senators Stabenow and Peters.

June 1: Rally in Detroit, Michigan with Governor Whitmer focused on American manufacturing and Brown's working-class credentials, with a particular focus on the ticket's pro-union policies in an attemtp to draw a contrast between himself and Haley.

"Nikki Haley has been trying to promote herself as the choice of the average American. This is someone who took a $315,000 a year job with the board of Boeing after she resigned as an Ambassador!

Why Boeing? Well, as Governor, Nikki Haley signed a bill that gave Boeing, one of the most profitable companies in America, $120 million in taxpayer-funded subsidies. From the time she assumed office as governor of South Carolina, Boeing was given over a billion dollars in subsidies. Among these? $400 million in government bonds and over $300 million in property tax breaks.

She's is not America's candidate. She is Boeing's candidate!"

June 2-6: Barnstorm across southern Michigan with Stabenow and Peters. The focus remained on Brown's populist credentials, and in pointing out Haley's connections to shady corporate activities. He also roundly slammed the selection of Trump Jr as her running mate, something he intends to highlight.

June 7: Rally in Flint, Michigan with Senator Stabenow.

June 8: Rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan

June 9-12: Campaign in Florida

June 9: Rally in Parkland Florida. Here, Brown began highlighting the terrible decision made to select Donald Trump Jr as running mate.

"This was easily the most ill-informed decision made for a Presidential ticket since John McCain tapped Sarah Palin for the job. This is a man with no experience, no qualifications . . . actually, that latter part isn't entirely true. His qualifications are that he's close with the conspiracy theory wing of the GOP. After the devastating shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in this very town, Trump Jr supported conspiracy theories that the kids who saw their friends murdered were coached into their activism!

But perhaps the most damning of all is that this man's commitment to democracy is questionable, as is Ambassador Haley's, because she did pick him as her running mate. In 2020, this man attemtped to rally an army of vigilantes for 'election security'. Yeah, right. THis is a man who on November 5th four years ago, called for 'total war' rather than simply concede the election like an adult.

Ambassador Haley's commitment to democracy in selecting this man as her running mate is questionable. Moreoever, he has inherited the sheer pettiness of his father. This man cannot be allowed to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency."

June 10-12: Barnstorm across Miami with the focus on messaging in the community. Republicans are to be cast as warriors for the privileged elite and Haley in particular will be called out for her job with Boeing and record as Governor.

June 13-15: Campaign in Ohio

June 13: Speak at rally for Tim Ryan.

June 14-15: Barnstorm in Cincinatti and Columbus.

June 1st-15th schedule for Nikki Haley
By U.S. Department of State from United States - Ambassador Haley Delivers Remarks to the Press on the UN Human Rights Council, Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=70119559
June 1: Rally in Las Vegas with Senate Candidate James Settlemeyer
Quote
Sherrod Brown's attacks on me are such a distraction from the great plans I have for our nation. His policies come directly from the radical left playbook but Americans are going to see how bad they really are this November. We're going to bring down the price of prescription drugs, not force you off of your private healthcare. We're going to incentivize businesses to protect the enviroment, not burden them down with excessive regulations. We're going to protect the lives of the unborn, not fore taxpayers to pay for them! My ideas are common-sense conservative policies that almost everyone can agree on and we're going to see that at the polls this November when Nevada votes for me and for James Settlemeyer!
June 2-5th: Meet with voters in Las Vegas, emphasize support for immigration reform and how Sherrod Brown's trade policies will hurt migrant workers
June 6th: Open door fundraiser in Las Vegas, Nevada
June 8th: Rally in Reno, Nevada
Excerpt from speech:
Quote
Senator Brown's economic policies would be, to put it mildy, disastrous. He has called for high tariffs which will practically stop all jobs from coming into this nation. There is no way that his radical ideas would bring jobs back to this country.  He's supported withdrawing from the World Trade Organization. This would put the world at a major disadvantage and allow China's economic might to continue to grow. I can promise you this, will never back down to China as president.
June 9th: Fly to Cleveland, take questions from reporters
June 10th: Rally with Governor Mike Dewine in downtown Cleveland
Quote
Let's talk about education, Cleveland. Too many kids are falling behind in our public schools. I'm going to appoint a secretary of education who recognizes the problems and takes them head on. In the mean time, meny children receive a very special opportunity in the form of charter schools. They truly exemplify how public-private partnership in America can lead to great things. Unfortunately, Senator Brown introduced a bill in 2015 which would seek to place more and more overbearing regulations on charter schools. Turning this places of hope and opportunity into the same failing institutions as our public schools. This isn't a binary choice. We can improve both charter schools and public schools at the same time. Democrats simply are trying to divide people by pitting these two types of education against each other. When I'm president, I won't play these political games, I'll fight to improve the lives of every American.
June 11th-14th: Barnstorm suburban Cleveland with Frank LaRose
June 15th: Begin airing the following ad:
Quote
Narrator: Sherrod Brown has been in politics since 1975, what's changed?

Our prescription drug prices have skyrocketed

Our air and water are more polluted than ever

Workers are paid less in wages due to heavy inflation

Sherrod Brown says he can fix these problems, if that's the case why hasn't he done it in Washington all these years?
