Hello Atlas! I am here to bring gaiety, happiness, writing fun, and Christmas cheer to this board. This time I bring a unique game and I believe the first of it's kind. If I remember correctly the idea vaguely originates with Del Tachi.

A game the takes place within one congressional district. Players play as individual candidates, running in primaries and then perhaps in the GE, or perhaps as an independent, it is all up to you. Most of the normal election game realities apply, though I'm sure there will be differences. A unique game, and while I'm still ironing out the details I believe it has to the potential to be something special. Campaign, fundraise, organize, advertise, and debate your way to victory.

You would create custom characters to run, you wouldn't be running as real life figures. The district will naturally be a real one so you can have a real world environment, though the incumbent will be automatically be retiring for simplicities sake.

So, is there any interest for this kind of game? I will soon have a poll on which district ya'll would prefer, and I'm fairly certain it will be a swing district in the year 2006, although I would hear out alternate suggestions.

I admit that I'd rather play as real-life politician (if only because I'm not creative at all, so creating custom characters is a bit beyond me)

As for what district, I'm partial to my home district of NY-4.

I’m interested.

Of these districts, probably IN-09.

Other interesting possibilities which were all close in the actual 2006 election could include CT-04, NC-11 or PA-04.

I'm interested, especially if it is for the NH 1st, but any of them would be interesting.

Hmm...of the two choices presented, I guess I'd support NH-1.

Of course, I'd still rather be able to play as a real-life politician (I've never had the chance to play as Maggie Hassan, for example.)

Looks like NH is ahead but I'll keep the poll up for a bit more

Are there any major objections to the result of the poll as it stands?
