OOC introduction: Hey everyone, thank you for joining this. We are going to start the game and if anyone else wants to join in, they will be added until the end of turn 2. If you need any kind of information related to the game, its rules, polls, focus groups etc. I am here to help you so make sure to PM me. Turn 1 takes place in May 2023.

Turn 1 - May 2023

Following some boring years in American politics, excitement is finally back as the 2024 general election starts and both President Biden and former President Trump have decided not to run, thus opening up the fields of both parties for new candidates.

On the Democratic side, Vice President Harris seems to be the frontrunner however the presence of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, socialist Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, populist Senator Sherrod Brown and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker guarantees she is not in for a coronation.

On the Republican side, former VP Mike Pence is backed by the Tea Party and Trumpists, however Nikki Haley has been very popular with the traditional conservatives and all other candidates have a shot at the nomination.

Democratic polls -

Vice President Harris - 36%
Governor Cuomo - 23%
Rep. Ocasio Cortez - 17%
Senator Brown - 13%
Senator Booker - 11%

Republican polls -
Fmr. VP Pence - 34%
Fmr. UN Ambassador Haley - 31%
Senator Rubio - 19%
Senator Hawley - 9%
Mr. Trump Jr. - 7%

If you are not polling well right now, do not worry! These are big advantages, but based on notoriety. They will disappear as the candidates get more well known. Everyone has a good chance of victory, depending on their campaign!

Schedule for Kamala Harris

May 1, 2023

Meet Voters, Dixville Notch, New Hampshire

Speech, The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel, Dixville Notch, New Hampshire

Almost three years ago you repudiated Trumpism resoundingly, giving President Biden all five of your votes. Now, I ask you to do so again, for me, or for whoever our nominee ends up being. After all, no matter who the Republicans nominate, they cannot win their nomination without being a Trumpist.

Meet Voters, Whitefield, New Hampshire

May 2, 2023

Meet Voters in Lancaster, New Hampshire

Meet Voters in Littleton, New Hampshire

May 3, 2023

Meet Voters in Warren, New Hampshire

Meet Voters in Groton, New Hampshire

Meet Voters in Alexandria, New Hampshire

Meet Voters in Hill, New Hampshire

May 4, 2023

Speech before students, Proctor Academy, Andover, New Hampshire

So, if you're going to be eighteen before the New Hampshire Primary, raise your hand.

Okay, now if you're going to be eighteen before next November's general election, raise your hand.

Great.

It's very important that you register to vote for those dates. Voting is the lifeblood of our electoral system. Without it, we literally could not have the government we have now. I strongly encourage each and every one of you to register once you are eligible.

Speech in Franklin, New Hampshire

Saudi Arabia has never been suitably punished for the brutal murder of Jamal Kashoggi. As President, I will freeze all Saudi Arabian money currently in the United States, institute sanctions on the entire Saudi Royal Family, and issue a travel ban on all Saudi Nationals from entering the United States.

Meet Voters in Tilton, New Hampshire

Meet Voters in Barnstead, New Hampshire

May 5,2023

Appearance on CBS This Morning, from Barnstead, New Hampshire

So, yesterday, you called for a travel ban on Saudi Nationals. Care to explain that?

I can. Jamal Kashoggi, a journalist, was murdered five years ago by the Saudi Government. Fifteen of the nineteen hijackers on 9/11 were Saudi Arabian. If I were President Bush in 2003, I would have invaded Saudi Arabia, not Iraq. However, we are long past the time to correct that mistake, and invading Saudi Arabia now would get us nowhere. However, what I suggested would serve as an appropriate punishment, without actually risking American troops.

What about those who say a travel ban against Saudi Arabia is racist?

Unlike what President Trump tried to do, the Saudis have done quite a bit to earn a travel ban. Hell, they should have gotten one for 9/11 alone! I'm not about to go crazy and put a travel ban on every Muslim country or Muslim in the world. Only two countries in the middle east are active threats to American lives right now, Saudi Arabia and Iran, and they are the only two countries in that region of the world I would consider putting a travel ban in place on.

Schedule for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

May 1, 2023
Meet Voters. El Paso, Texas.

Speech. El Paso International Airport, El Paso, Texas

Almost 3 years ago, you supported Joe Biden's campaign for president. Now, I ask you to support the Democratic nominee, whoever that may be, me, or my opponent Vice President Harris. But I can tell you one thing. I will not stand by and let innocent people in this country be ruthlessly murdered by assault weapons!

Meet Voters. Van Horn, Texas.

Meet Voters, Odessa, Texas.
Speech. Medical Center Hospital, Odessa, Texas.

The state of Texas has had a gross lack of expansion of healthcare. As president, I will fight to expand the public option so that everyone, including the people of the great city of Odessa, has quality healthcare!

Flight from Odessa, Texas to McAllen, Texas.
Meet Voters. McAllen, Texas.
Speech. McAllen Convention Center, McAllen, Texas.
McAllen, I won't forget you like Joe and Kamala did! Your voices matter and I want to reach out to the wonderful residents of the Rio Grande Valley to know how I can govern in your interests!

May 2, 2023
Meet Voters. Corpus Christi, Texas.

Meet with voters. Iowa City, Iowa.

Meet with Voters. Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Meet with Voters. Davenport, Iowa.

Parade and speech. Chicago, Illinois.
In the wonderful city of Chicago, I've seen giant highways go through previously thriving neighborhoods. As President, I will lead the charge to reroute our highway system to the outside of the large downtowns of urban areas, and take steps to revitalize that land as nice, affordable developments for marginalized communities!

May 5, 2023

Meet with Voters. Gary, Indiana.

Speech. South Bend, Indiana.
South Bend, as President, I will fight for your voice to be heard!

Appearance on CNN from South Bend, Indiana.

Representative, what do you have to say for those in the Biden administration who have critisized you for being "too young and inexperienced" to be running for President?

To those anonymous critics of my campaign, I only have one thing to say. Shouldn't you be focused on governing, and not focused on trying to drag me down? You have a job to do, and it doesn't include trying to destroy my campaign!

Thank you for that response, Representative. Next question.
Yesterday, Vice President Harris called for a travel ban on Saudi nationals. You responded on Twitter with, "3 years ago, we voted out someone who tried to ban travel from muslim countries. Today, the same thing has happened with Saudi Arabia. #AOC2024". What do you have to say for yourself?

Well, first of all, what I said was true. The Vice President is calling for a travel ban, which was one of the main reasons she and President Biden were elected. I believe there are different solutions to fix this problem, not outright banning people from a specific country from entering the US. While I do agree that we need to have strict protocols in place to screen a Saudi national for anything that could suggest they will commit an act of terror on American soil, travel bans aren't the solution.

Flight to New York City

May 6-8, 2023
Meeting with constituents and spending time with family.

May 9-14, 2023
Legislative work in D.C

May 15, 2023

So could I join at the start of round two?

Who did you want to play as? (Not the GM, but genuinely curious.)

I’d like to play as Nikki Haley I think

Good choice in my opinion (though I'm not sure she'd run against Pence IRL.)

TAKE AMERICA BACK

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump_Jr.

Manhattan, New York- Businessman Donald Trump Jr, son of former President Donald Trump, has officially announced he will be seeking the Republican nomination for president!
*Proud to be an American by Lee Greenwood playing, Don runs out to the stage, microphone in hand, waving and pointing, crowd cheering*
“Hello! *applause* thank you, thank you. I have been teasing a big announcement for months now. Here we go. I am officially entering the race for the Republican nomination! *applause, Don smirks* yes! Ladies and gentlemen, four years ago the great election process was rigged by the far left socialist Democratic Party and Joe Biden, a communist, was placed in charge. My father, one of the greatest American presidents had the election stolen from him. *applause, smiles* yes! Yes! We will take america back from the socialist democrats! But unfortunately right now, our front runners can’t do it. Mike Pence, *boos from the audience* he’s so low energy it’s actually quite sad! To take america back we are going to run the best campaign that will be of the people, for the people and by the people! *applause* yea! All of you! No longer will the democrats be able to push a socialist agenda in this fight for the soul of America! God bless you all and God bless these United States!”
*Leaves stage to Billy Ray Cyrus’ “some gave all”, but first waving and smiling*

Brown 2024: Standing With The Other America
[credit: Wikimedia Commons]

"In 2020, we defeated the greatest threat to American democracy, Donald Trump. For the last four years, Joe Biden has been sewing up the wounds of this nation, trying to make it a more perfect union.

Now the hard work begins.

In 1962, Michael Harrington wrote a book called The Other America. It opened our eyes to the crippling poverty issues our nation faced then, and still faces today. The working class and poor are being left behind. Despite the best efforts of Joe Biden, they havefound themselves left behind by the same old politics of convenience.

All my life, I have stood for the working class of this nation. From the day I entered the House, I have fught for the interests of the working class. Today, I am taking that fight further. I hereby announce my candidacy for President of the United States! Today, we stand up for The Other America!"

Platform:

Quote
Key Pledges:

-A new War on Poverty

-Decisive action on climate change

-Protection for the American worker

-End systematic voter suppression

-Renew our democracy

Social policies:

-Increase the number of free school meals to combat hunger in children

-Universal healthcare, modelled on the German system

-A Second Civil Rights Act, to combat systemic racism and discrimination.

-Empower the EPA to fight pollutioj and the DOJ to file lawsuits for environmental crimes

Economic policies:

-A national infrastructure program to create millions of new jobs

-Increase taxes on the wealthiest American citzens; cut them for the middle and working classes

-Reinstate Glass-Steagall

-Increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour

-Repeal Taft-Hartley

-A Buy American Act

Foreign policies:

-Focus on working with existing alliances

-Use international organisations to fight climate change

Nikki Haley Campaign Launch

Credit: Wikimedia Commons Photo by Ryan Johnson
Charleston, South Carolina "Hello America, hello. I stand before you today as many things, a wife, a mother, a patriot, a former Governor and Ambassador and most importantly, a candidate for the Presidency of the United States of America! Applause I am seeking the nomination of this great Republican party because there is something I believe in very strongly. That is America's Promise. I am the daughter of two immigrants who came to this nation to seek a better life. Through their hard work they were able to achieve a better future for me. That is the promise of America. I've seen it with my own eyes and that is why as UN ambassador I fought for America to be a beacon of freedom and liberty to the rest of the world. Unfortunately today too many politicians don't believe in America's Promise. They believe in micro-managing our lives and not rewarding our hard work. That's why we have to make sure the Democrats do not keep the White House next November. I am the candidate who can stop that. And as your president I will always strive toward that shining city on the hill. I hope you will join me by texting NIKKI to 33008. Thank you and God bless you and may God bless the United States of America!"

After the event, Former Ambassador Haley's campaign went live with her campaign slogan: "Restoring America's Promise."

Brown 2024: Standing With The Other America
May 2023 Schedule

May 1: Declare candidacy in hometown of Mansfield, Ohio

May 2-10: The Brown campaign decided to take the plunge and be the first campaign to visit Iowa, making the first stop in Des Moines. At his first speech, Brown opened with the need to launch a second war on poverty to counter what the coronavirus pandemic had done in pushing millions of more people below the poverty line. He then spent several days barnstorming over the state's rural counties in an attempt to build his reputation.

May 11-20: Sen. Brown travelled to New Hampshire these days, attempting to gather support from the Granite State's voters by resting on his reputation for being a working-class populist and travelling to Nashua, Manchester and Berlin; old manufacturing towns that had been cut out after the Great Depression. His strategy was simple: As a Senator from the industrial Midwest, who knew more about how to restore the manufacturing industry in the state? Of course, it was also linked with his Second War on Poverty proposals

May 21-31: Brown travelled to New York City these days, accompanied by is campaign's advisors on minority outreach and on inner-city issues. He spent most of his tim in inner-city areas as he spruiked a renewed War on Poverty, with a particular focus on how black Americans were disproportionately affected by poverty, along with COVID-19 having exacerbated it.

IN-GAME EVENTS

Justice Stephen Breyer dead, Biden pick blocked by McConnell

On 15th May 2023, the most unfortunate has happened - Justice Stephen Breyer, liberal nominated by Bill Clinton to serve on the Supreme Court in 1994, has died of a sudden heart attack, thus giving  Biden the first Supreme Court vacancy of his term. However, the nominee picked by the President, Sri Srinivasan, has been denied a hearing by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell from the very beginning, despite outrage from the Democrats and even some moderate Republicans. It remains to be seen how the Presidential candidates, especially GOP ones, position themselves towards this crisis.

Brief border conflict between Russia and Estonia

Following Vladimir Putin stepping down in mid-2021 from the leadership of Russia, the Russian leadership has taken a more expansionist approach toward foreign policy, namely placing thousands of troops at the border with Estonia, which is a member of NATO. On May 17th, a conflict started from unknown reasons lasted for about 30 minutes at the border, a development which alarmed many in the West. President Biden pledged his full support to the US ally.

New Turn 2 mechanics -

Every turn will last a month in-game, and a schedule is expected. It does not have to be extremely specific, just list where your candidate is. 3 turns without a schedule is considered to be a withdrawal. If you want to drop out for personal reasons, you can endorse another candidate but the votes will be distributed between the remaining candidates instead of transferred.

A debate will be organized every 2 turns, and there will be 2 total town halls per turn for individual candidates. They can be reserved by PM.

For endorsements, you can have 3 free endorsements every turn, and one will be added for every 5% in the polls. Sitting Senators or Governors can not endorse candidates under 15% in their states, and major organizations will not endorse candidates under 10% nationwide. Until a list is available, feel free to PM me to ask about who occupies a certain office (the officials are obviously different in many cases from OTL.)

Schedule for Kamala Harris-June 2023

June 1, 2023

Speech at the Portsmouth Navy Yard, Kittery, Maine

A strong American Navy is needed if we are to check China's ambitions around the world. China has grown more bold in recent years. They've built up more and more islands in the South China Sea, they've placed Hong Kong under it's iron fist, and they've expressed a strong desire to forcibly return Taiwan to them. We need to able to counter China, and having a strong navy is a key step in doing so.

Speech at The Music Hall, Portsmouth, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen, Maggie Hassan)

What the Republican Party is doing in blocking hearings for Sri Srinivasan to replace Justice Stephen Breyer is essentially domestic terrorism. They are saying "we want things our way, or we'll wreck the country." It's impossible to have a functioning government if this is your opposition.

Meet Voters in Candia, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen)

Meet Voters in Rye, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen)

June 2, 2023

Speech in York, Maine

So, I got asked yesterday, when in Candia, whether I'd be willing to pick Representative Ocasio-Cortez as my running mate if I won the nomination. I answer that quite honestly, with a yes, I would be willing to pick Representative Ocasio-Cortez as my running mate, if that is what is needed to unite the Democratic Party.

Speech/Rally at the Tyson Events Center, Sioux City, Iowa (with Tom Harkin)

Frankly, Donald Trump Jr. should be in a prison cell, not running for President. Like his father, he has committed a massive fraud on this country. He says Joe Biden stole the 2020 election from his father. Need I remind him that his father stole the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton? People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

June 3, 2023

Speech/Rally at Louis and Clark Park, Sioux City, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Frankly, the fact that we are clinging on to Ethanol as a miracle worker in the battle against climate change is astounding. I am proud to endorse the Green New Deal, as has been repeatedly presented by Representative Ocasio-Cortez. Quite honestly, I'm disappointed I didn't back it sooner.

Speech at Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, Iowa

The Vatican has yet to own up, even after all of these years, to the tens of thousands of children sexually abused by priests, and that's just the one's in America. As President, I will not appoint an Ambassador to the Holy See, because they have covered the sexual abuse of children for too long, and gotten away scot-free. I call on President Biden to recall Ambassador Coakley from the Vatican, with immediate effect.

Meet Voters in Struble, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Speech in Le Mars, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Wells Enterprises is an example of a family business making it to the big time. Under a Harris Administration, we will aggressively fight corporate monopolies, so that all businesses have a chance to succeed the way Wells has.

June 4, 2023

Meet Voters in Anthon, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Meet Voters in Mapleton, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Meet Voters in Onawa, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Meet Voters in Logan, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Meet Voters in Pigsah, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

June 5, 2023

Appear on CBS This Morning, from Pigsah, Iowa

So, Vice President Harris, you're pushing for Ambassador to the Holy See, Martha Coakley's ouster. Care to explain why?

The Vatican has basically covered up the sexual abuse of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of children around the world for decade. I expected Ambassador Coakley to push for more reparations and more sunlight, and less hiding and coverups. That has not happened. As such, I feel it is well warranted to call for her dismissal, for failing to do her job.

What about those who will say you are anti-Catholic?

Whether it is the Catholic Church or Boy Scouts, Little League, or your teacher at school, the sexual abuse of minors simply cannot be tolerated. Period.

So you aren't anti-Catholic?

I wouldn't have agreed to serve as Vice President for a Catholic man if I was this strong anti-Catholic that everyone claims I am. I wouldn't be Vice President for Joe Biden, a practicing Catholic, and great man of faith, if I was so stridently against Catholics.

I am against the sexual abuse of minors. End of Story.

Meet Voters in Dunlap, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Meet Voters in Aspinwall, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Speech in Denison, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

What the Republican Party is doing in blocking hearings for Sri Srinivasan to replace Justice Stephen Breyer is essentially domestic terrorism. They are saying "we want things our way, or we'll wreck the country." It's impossible to have a functioning government if this is your opposition.

Meet Voters in Harlan, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

June 6, 2023

Meet Voters in Shelby, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Cindy Axne)

Meet Voters in Carter Lake, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Cindy Axne)

Speech at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, Council Bluffs, Iowa (With Cindy Axne)

I'm not sure why we haven't federally legalized online gambling yet. The fact of the matter is, if an American is above the legal age to gamble in this country, and is willing to risk losing his or her own money, then neither the federal government, nor any state, has the right to say they cannot do so. They can provide a framework for how they do so, but they must legally allow them to do so.

June 7, 2023

Tour the Iowa School for the Deaf (With Tom Harkin and Cindy Axne), Council Bluffs, Iowa

Meet Voters in Avoca, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Cindy Axne)

Meet Voters in Ridgeland, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn)

June 8, 2023

Speech at the University of South Carolina, Beaufort, Bluffton, South Carolina

Our Education system is quite honestly a mess. It seems that only the wealthy and well-connected can afford a college education these days, and that just isn't fair to the rest of the general population. As President, I will push for free college for all students who make, or whose families make less $250,000 a year.

Meet Voters in Port Royal, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn)

Speech, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn)

America's coastlines are under threat from Climate Change, and Republicans in Congress, especially here in South Carolina, as well as in other vulnerable states like Louisiana, Florida, and Texas, continue to sit on their hands and deny the science. We need to pass the Green New Deal, if we want to have any chance at even delaying the onslaught of what is to come.

June 9, 2023

Play a round of Golf, Harbour Town Golf Links (With Jim Clyburn)

June 10, 2023

Speech in Beaufort, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn)

What the Republican Party is doing in blocking hearings for Sri Srinivasan to replace Justice Stephen Breyer is essentially domestic terrorism. They are saying "we want things our way, or we'll wreck the country." It's impossible to have a functioning government if this is your opposition.

Meet Voters in Yemasee, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn)

June 11, 2023

Appear on Meet the Press, from Yemasee, South Carolina

Vice President Harris, you've been going around the early states calling the Senate's refusal to hold hearings on Sri Srinivasan, domestic terrorism. Why are you saying this?

Because, when the opposition holds you hostage, and says "do as we say, or we wreck the country", as Senator McConnell and his counterparts in the Senate are doing, then they've crossed a major line. At that point, they are no longer a mere political party, they are the political wing of a terrorist organization, like Sinn Fein and the Irish Republican Army.

There are some to your left, like Cenk Uygur, who have called for outlawing the Republican Party on those grounds. Do you support that?

When we outlaw political parties for any reason, we go down a very dark road as country that we likely would not be able to recover from. This is America, not North Korea, and we will never outlaw political parties for political reasons.

Meet Voters in Gifford, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn)

June 12, 2023

Participate in Hampton Watermelon Eating Festival, Hampton, South Carolina

Meet Voters in Wahalla, South Carolina

June 13, 2023

Meet Voters in Pickens, South Carolina

Meet Voters in Liberty, South Carolina

June 14, 2023

Speech in Easley, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn)

Frankly, the Russian Governments's actions in Estonia are out of control. If I'm the Secretary-General of NATO, I'm calling up the Russian Government, and stating that the next time Russia commits a provocation against any NATO member, be it starting incidents with Estonian troops, or interfering in American elections, there will be a declaration of war by NATO against Russia.

June 15, 2023

Speech/Rally at Memorial Stadium, Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina

My opinion on the debate over whether college athletes should get paid is simple. Either you are a student at a university, or you are an athlete. It, in my opinion, is impossible to be both. All Professional Sports that operate in this country should be able to, and required by law to, draft out of high school, and from overseas, only.

Speech/Rally at Littlejohn Coliseum, Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina

Why does the NCAA get to decide what is an amateur athlete in this country? Their definition of amateurism is the most unfair thing to a student athlete that can exist. If athletics at American colleges are to continue, they must be under the direct auspices of the Department of Education.

Meet Voters, Rosman, North Carolina

June 16, 2023

Meet Voters, Brevard, North Carolina

Tour Pigsah Astronomical Research Institute, Basalm Grove, North Carolina

June 17, 2023

Speech in Maryville, Tennessee

Meet Voters in Townsend, Tennessee

Meet Voters in Farragut, Tennesse

Appear on Anderson Cooper 360, from Farragut, Tennessee

So, last week you stated that Russia provoking more incidents with NATO members, or interfering in American elections again would be an "act of war". Does that mean that, if it can proven that Russia interfered in this year's elections and you won, you would be willing to go war with Russia?

I am willing to do whatever it takes to force Russia to stop seizing territory from it's neighbors. If that means we go to war with Russia, than so be it.

Aren't you worried about the possibility of a nuclear war?

I think both the President of Russia and myself are smart enough to realize that no one wins a nuclear war. Not us, not Russia, and not anyone else.

June 21, 2023

Speech/Rally at Neyland Stadium, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee

The fact of the matter is the NFL covered up that playing football was hazardous to one's brain function, and even today continues to downplay this. As President, I will direct the Attorney General to seek a Federal Prosecution, either criminally or civilly against the NFL for covering up concussions, brain injuries, and the links between them for decades.

Speech/Rally at Thompson-Boling Arena, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee

Our Education system is quite honestly a mess. It seems that only the wealthy and well-connected can afford a college education these days, and that just isn't fair to the rest of the general population. As President, I will push for free college for all students who make, or whose families make less $250,000 a year.

Speech/Rally at the Mobile Civic Center, Mobile, Alabama

America's coastlines are under threat from Climate Change, and Republicans in Congress, especially here in Alabama, as well as in other vulnerable states like Louisiana, Florida, and Texas, continue to sit on their hands and deny the science. We need to pass the Green New Deal, if we want to have any chance at even delaying the onslaught of what is to come.

Speech/Rally at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mobile, Alabama

So, my home state's USC Trojans went 12-1 last season and won the PAC-12, and yet somehow they lost out on a spot in the College Football playoff to Alabama, which didn't even reach the SEC Championship Game. How on earth is that fair? I would love to see the College Football playoff expanded, or alternatively, a rule be put in place that only Conference Champions may be considered for a playoff spot.

June 23, 2023

Tour Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Dauphin Island, Alabama

Meet Voters in Satsuma, Alabama

Appear on College Football Live,

So, you came out in a campaign rally, and I remember discussing on Sportscenter this morning, in favor of either an expanded playoff, or requiring the committee to consider only conference champions when building their playoff field. Let's start with the expanded playoff, why are you in favor of that?

It's rather clear that just four teams isn't enough. I don't even think eight teams is really enough. What we would need is a sixteen team playoff, with all the conference champions and the top remaining teams.

What about the second format. What do you have to say to coaches and administrators at Army, Liberty, BYU or Notre Dame who don't play in a conference, who would be deliberately excluded under your plan?

My advice would be to join a conference. Notre Dame can fully join the ACC whenever it wants, they've already proved that it works in 2020.

Are you looking for a spot on the Playoff Selection Committee?

Well, right now I'm a bit preoccupied with running for President, but if that doesn't work out, being on the committee would interest me.

Mike Lindell Announces Presidential Campaign
Target Center - Minneapolis, Minnesota

Bring It Back Rally

Good afternoon Minneapolis! Wow. Look at that fantastic turnout we’ve got today. Folks, this is unbelievable. Really unbelievable. Thousands of people here. Wow.

It’s an absolute honor to have all of you here today. You know, we got other candidates running now and they didn’t get anything like this. Nothing comes close to this.

I want to thank all of you for coming out here today for a very special announcement. I am announcing, officially announcing, I am running for President!

In the four years since the radical Democrats stole the election from President Trump, we’ve witnessed the destruction of this country like we’ve never seen before. Joe Biden, where the hell is he? He’s nowhere to be found! Asleep at the switch! We have a President who has completely given up. Thrown in the towel. He’s handed the keys over to his Vice President. You know her. That woman, Kamala or Kuh-mala, however it’s pronounced, she’s running the show now. Trump said this would happen, people. Biden has been puppeted by Kamala Harris and her radical, Anti-American agenda.

Look at what has happened to this country in the past four years. We’re losing again, folks. We’ve made more trade deals and we’re giving away jobs left and right. A recent report from Reuters says we lost 250,000 manufacturing jobs since Biden/Kamala took charge. That’s almost half of what President Trump managed to bring back. Half. What are the leaders telling people to do now? Learn to code. LEARN TO CODE. I tell you people, it’s laughable. They want you typing on a keyboard for a living. You know what coding pays folks? 5 bucks an hour. And you know they’re just gonna hire some Indian or Chinese person instead, they’ll do it for a dime. Why even bother.

I’m a businessman. I know business and making things. I make stuff in America, for Americans. Right here in Minnesota. I’m on the front lines of this fight. Let me tell you folks, we’re getting the crap beaten out of us by China and India! My accountants come up to me and they tell me, “Mike, we’re losing millions here, doing work in America. We need to move out to China.” But I tell them, we got to stay here. We have to make a stand against these people or no one else will!

We’re losing everything to these countries and we get nothing in return. We’re selling them 5 trillion in goods. We get back, on a good year, 100 billion. It’s such a bad deal. It’s like our nation has no one in charge!

And let me tell you, folks, Kamala is selling us out to those people. A lot of people are saying she has ties to bad elements outside of this country and I think we need to investigate that stuff very closely. She’s corrupt folks. She took over the show from Biden and they’re all doing her bidding now.

You look at some of these people and they’re selling us out. We have an environment guy who is crushing our industry. Jay Inslee. Look at what he did to Washington, ask the people of Yakima what he did to them. No more jobs folks! We have a Labor guy, Tom Perez - he’s owned by China. Just look up the numbers. He’s got something like 100 million in a Chinese stock portfolio. He’s Kamala’s pick folks and he’s selling out our workers like there’s no tomorrow.

Folks, we know what is going on. They’re owned by lobbyists. They’re owned by foreign corporations. Anywhere you look, they’ve got their nose in everything that Kamala is doing in Biden’s name. They have no ideas, they just propose whatever their lobbyists want. Billions and billions of dollars in free tax giveaways. Look up SALT, folks. It’s free money for the rich.

What have Biden and Kamala given the workers of the country, you ask me. You get nothing! We’re losing thousands of jobs each year. They just published a report in USA Today. 1 in 4 people are not making enough to live a good life. A quarter of the country cannot take care of itself because we’re losing to China and India. It’s like our leaders have given up on making stuff here and they’re looting everything that isn’t tied down.

Look at that. No teleprompter. I don't need one. Never have.

I believe in God. I believe in the 2nd Amendment. But most of all, I believe in America. How many of these people believe in this country? Not many, I tell you. But I do. I really do.

I will restore our nation back to its rightful place in the world. We will be feared. We will be respected. But we will be peaceful. It’s like Teddy Roosevelt said, with the stick and speaking softly. We will carry that stick and be very careful where it’s used. Kamala, just look at her. She’s throwing it around without any idea how to use it. Very bad leadership!

I am running to protect the people of this country. We need leadership. We need good paying jobs. We need factories for people to work in! And we’re gonna bring it back folks. We’re gonna bring America back. And that starts right here, right now. Alright, bless you folks. Thank you, I love you! Wow.

Lindell For President
Campaign Schedule

June 1st:
--Campaign Announcement in Minneapolis
--Write a Check for Campaign
--Buy Campaign Bus “BRING US BACK”
--Hire pollster Robert Cahaly
--Start hiring National and Regional organizing team
--Ask Brad Parscale to manage campaign
--Set up personal Twitter, Facebook, Parler (Parlor??), etc.

“All of my opponents can’t fund their own campaigns. None of them built a business from scratch. I did. I will not be bought by anyone but myself. I am the only self funded candidate for President in the field. I will accept donations from you, the people, but nothing from lobbyists or special interests. They’re getting nothing from me. Nada.”

June 2nd:
--Drive to Mason City, Iowa
--Meet with representatives of Future Farmers of America
--Host Town Hall with local Republican Party

“I just looked up the numbers. They’re so bad. 35% of farmers are thinking about filing for bankruptcy. They have no money because Kamala and Biden don’t want to help people like you. They care about the people who type on keyboards for a living. Keyboard typers are okay, but no one should be forced to do it. It’s disgusting. You go to Canada or Mexico or China, and their corn, their soy is like, 20 times cheaper than what we make here. But they don’t do it better than us, folks. They get big checks from their governments and they sell it for pennies. We’re giving our farmers nothing. You better believe I’m gonna reward our farmers on day 1. We’re not gonna lose to these people again.

June 3rd:
--Drive to Ames, Iowa
--Field questions from local reporters

“You can’t trust the national media. They want to make money. They don’t care about the honest story anymore. You remember that guy, what was name, Cronkite? There’s no one like him anymore on TV. I tell ya. The local news. They’re the only ones you can trust these days.”

June 4th:
--Drive to Sioux City, Iowa
--Meet with local dairy farmers
--Chat up Trump campaign veterans

“You look at what’s going on to dairy and it’s very bad. Kamala and AOC hate it. They want to slap a big, big tax on your products. It’s like they hate cows or something. Maybe it’s the taste of milk, I don’t know. Very weird stuff. We’re not doing that to you people. I will protect the dairy farmers of America from foreign substitutes. Nothing beats our milk and cheese, folks. If we just help people like you out, we’re all gonna be better off. No dairy farmer will go broke while I’m President.”

June 5th:
--Drive to Des Moines, Iowa
--Hire Regional Organizer (maybe Bachmann’s people know someone??)
--Give speech at Local Union 33

“Plumbers. Pipefitters. Wrench holders. Those are jobs for real Americans. You guys are doing awesome work here. You think about what our country has done to workers and it makes me sick. People say it’s a dirty word these days. Unions. I tell them if you’re in a union, you’re working with your hands. You’ve got a skill and you’re sticking to it. We should be celebrating your hard work. Each day you go into your jobs and you’re sweating and giving it everything you got. It’s amazing.”

June 6th:
--Drive to Chicago, Illinois
--Host community meet up in Beverly
--Meet with community leaders and activists in Calumet Heights

“Folks, ask yourself this. I am the only Presidential contender to come to places like this. You wanna know why? Because those people, they don’t care. They don’t care about you. None of them do. They’re all in it for the big check and payout at the end of the day. Kamala, she’s already decided she’s won your vote. But what has she done to deserve it? She’s thrown a lot of people in jail for possessing a bit of weed. She’s said a lot of nice things about rebuilding communities and stuff. But where are the results?

Life just keeps getting worse and worse, and everybody knows it. Our leaders don’t care about you, but I do. I know how it feels. You only get change by shaking things up and I will go in there and shake them up a lot. We’re gonna be making sure people get rewarded for hard work. Black people, you know, you work just as hard as anyone else. But look at what the Democrats are doing here. Look at this city! You deserve much better than this. We deserve better than this! As President,  I’m gonna get you everything that you deserve. We’re gonna bring back the money that’s been taken from you by the Democratic elites in the suburbs. That I can promise you.”

June 7th:
--Buy campaign plane (used learjet?)
--Haggle on price (100k, take it or leave it...alright, 300k, deal.)
--Fly to Nashville, Tennessee
--Meet with Southern Baptist Leaders

“I am so happy to be breaking bread with you fine people today. It’s amazing, really. You know, I’ve been a devout Christian all my life. I believe in Jesus. I believe in the Resurrection. It’s a beautiful thing. Kamala, what does she believe in? Vishnu? Krishna? An elephant with four arms? I don’t know folks, but it’s not good whatever it is. Just the other day, she launched a total and disgusting attack on Christianity. She wants to destroy the Catholic Church, she wants to shut down Churches, she wants people to not worship freely. It’s really sick stuff if you think about it. When I’m President, we’re gonna make sure people can worship God any way they like, anywhere. Believe me.”

June 8th:
--Argue with campaign manager over talking points
--Fly to Concord, New Hampshire
--Meet with Republican activists in Derry

June 9th:
--Drive to Portsmouth, New Hampshire
--Make conversation with the locals
--Give away free My Pillows

June 10th:
--Drive to Manchester, New Hampshire
--Tour an old paper mill
--Speak with reporters

“Look at this mill. What the hell happened here? This is what decades of bad leadership gets you. We had a President who was bringing these jobs back and he got robbed by Kamala. Absolutely terrible.”

June 11th:
--Drive to Nashua, New Hampshire
--Speak with voters at a town hall event
--Argue with pollster about ‘the numbers’

June 12th:
--Drive to Boston, Massachusetts
--Meet with Curt Schilling
--Fly to Taos, New Mexico

June 13th:
--Debut immigrantion plan

“I’m proud to officially and fully debut my immigration plan today. Here’s what we’re gonna do. We let the good people in, the hard workers and such. We keep the bad ones and the human traffickers out. I think the boys in blue call them coyotes. Am I right, Mike? Like the bad guy from the Looney Tunes?

These people are bad news folks. They’re pure evil. They come in, they steal people’s money. They throw women and children into trucks. They’re animals. Last week, they found a truck full of people. Every last one of them was dead. Everything taken. We got to stop them, folks. No more human trafficking!

You ask Kamala and AOC what they want to do. They say we just need to abolish ICE. ABOLISH ICE! You know what that would mean? Everyone here loses their job. Boom, poof, gone. They’d fire all of you. Meanwhile the Coyotes and their gang of thugs get to have a field day down here. It’s just sick.

We have to be strong on this issue. I love Mexicans. I love Hispanics. They’re beautiful people. The people here in our country are hard workers, very hard workers. But we have to stop the evil human traffickers. My plan will stop them dead. Guaranteed. “

No money to investigate crime, no money to do stakeouts, violent thugs on the streets. It’s horrible. She wants the criminals to win because she gets paid when they do, I tell ya.

We’re gonna support our police officers. You’ve worked all your life to get here and I respect the hell out of your commitment. Your service will be honored, fully. We’re gonna establish a national system to give you the benefits you deserve. Some cities, I hear they’re thinking of cutting back on your pension or getting rid of your union. Not on my watch. We’re gonna back the Blue 100%. I promise you that.

We see everything that you do out there and it’s amazing stuff. You’re called upon to be teachers, medics, and mental experts. It’s a tough job. We’re gonna give the cities the stuff they need to take care of those other things so that you can focus on locking up the bad guys. That’s your wheelhouse. Less paperwork, more crime fighting!

And I know, I know it’s controversial. But we gotta legalize marijuana. We have to do it. The young people, the youths. They need to learn respect for the Police. But we gotta have a fair deal with them. You guys crack down on the violent thugs, we let the surfer boy with a doobie have a little fun. It’s a good trade.”

I want to take back the White House for President Trump. The Democrats, they stole the election. Clear as day. It’s absolutely evil. But we’re gonna fight to bring it back. I’m the right man for the job.”

We’re gonna increase benefits. You are the ones who made America great. So we’re gonna make the elderly great again! We’re boosting your checks like you wouldn’t believe. Big, big investment into the program. And we have the money to do it right now! I’m gonna get it done.”

“Ten years ago, Governor Rick Snyder poisoned your water! He made you drink water with lead it in, like they did back when Caesar was around. Then he got, you know him, Barack Obama, the President of this County, to come here and lie to all of you. He drank the leaded water right in front of you. Unbelievable.

The leaders of this country failed Flint. Kamala and Biden, Joe especially, they failed you. Here we are, a decade out. This guy came up to me and said, “Mike, the water tastes awful still. I think it’s got lead in it.” Ten years later and you guys still don’t have clean water, good jobs, or a decent city to live in.

I’m going to change that on day 1. We’re bringing money back into industrial America. We’re bringing back good paying jobs. $30 bucks an hour, these jobs used to pay. We sold them overseas to pay for some schmuck’s private jet. Well, that ends right here, right now. We’re turning this country around.”

@SherrodBrown: The fact that a two-bit pillow man has attempted to stoke religious division based on the Vice President's parentage is disgusting. Mr Lindell should apologise immediately.

Statement from the Kamala Harris campaign

The statements by Mr. Lindell about Vice President Harris's faith are inappropriate for a Presidential Campaign, and we would like to ask for an apology.

On another note, the Vice President is not anti-Catholic and does not support closing down churches. She is anti-pedophile.

"Look, we have free religion in this country. It's an amazing thing. Kamala, you know, she can worship whatever animal she wants. But she needs to practice what she preaches. She attacks Christianity and Catholics, and it's very unfair.

If she's so against child sex abuse, why isn't she investigating the bad people in the Government that are doing it or cracking down on the human traffickers at the border? It's a total lie on her part and it shows just how corrupt she is."

Statement from the Kamala Harris Campaign

Mr. Lindell, if you want to complain about what the Justice Department chooses to prosecute, take it up with the Attorney General.

Vice President Harris does not make decisions on who to prosecute or what the Justice Department focuses on.

NOEM 2024 : AMERICA AND FREEDOM FIRST!

June 1st, 2024

Des Moines, Iowa

"Greetings, ladies and gentlemen! I am honored to be standing here today to do something many thought wouldn't happen! I am here today to announce my candidacy for Presidency of these United States of America! For the last four years, people have come up to me and asked if I'm running, so I just wanted to put that out there before anything else. Being my the governor of a state like South Dakota has offered many unique situations and challenges, all of which I have worked hard to overcome in my own ways.

However, we musn't forget why America currently in such a good shape. The Biden administration has been nothing but an absolute failure since day 1, appealing to insane people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who believes that just because her far left buddies won in Safely Democratic Districts, means that the nation wants far left ideas. Being from my great state, the state of South Dakota, I can assure you that is the farthest thing from the truth. What most Americans want is something you'll never hear from the Democrats : The need to be energy independent, a stronger enforcement of our rights in the US Constitution, decentralized government, lowered taxes, a support for small businesses, economic independence, bringing our troops back home, support for our police, a cracking down on both the far-left and the far-right, a fair immigration system that ensures illegals don't get off scott-free, and a great many things.

I do respect Sherrod Brown to seemingly being one of the few sane Democrats left in the party, along with Senator Manchin of West Virginia, and I will absolutely go against any wild conspiracy theory that my side makes because we must show ourselves to be better than the far left and not push insane ideas like what Mike Lindell is pushing, even if I respect him. He should not criticize Vice President Harris for her looks or her religion, but instead her policy. It is difficult to forget she supported Bernie Sander's healthcare plan until it was revealed how unpopular it would be, she was consistently ranked as America's most liberal Senator, and she was behind President Biden when he simply let the Trump Tax Cuts expire, leading to taxes to rise for Americans nation wide.

But that is neither here, nor there is something of great importance that I must bring up and that the recent death of Associate Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court as well as what could be the eventual retirements of Justices Alito, Roberts, and Thomas. I encourage Mitch McConnell to have a No vote on every single Biden Nominee instead of simply blocking them and for any moderate thinking of defecting, no that you'll be betraying the trust of the voters who sent you into office if you do so. The mob does not get to determine what is right, only the voters of the state and the nation does. Once this election has passed and the new President has been sworn in, we'll see who is appointing potential justices.

Now, I want to completely open with public and that is why, as of today, I am announcing my official list for my next four potential supreme court appointments if elected as President.

Breyer
-11th District Court of Appeals Judge Bill Pryor
-5th District Court of Appeals Judge Kyle Duncan
-Former Solicitor General Noel Francisco

Thomas
-Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron
-Attorney Erika Harold
-Lawyer Lynn Toler

Roberts
-Texas Senator Ted Cruz
-11th District Court of Appeals Judge Barbara Lagoa
-Eastern District of Missouri Judge Sarah Pitlyk

Alito
-6th District Court of Appeals Judge Amul Thapar
-4th District Court of Appeals Judge Allison Jones Rushing
-11th District Court of Appeals Judge Britt Grant

And there you go, complete and utter openness about who I'll consider appointing should I be elected President and these seats be open to me. I request all other current candidates to do the same, so all Americans know we're fighting for them! I will meet you on the campaign trail! Can't wait to meet every single one of you there!
"

June Campaign : Iowa and New Hampshire

For the first two weeks of June, Governor Noem will focus on campaigning in Iowa, focusing on the Agricultural Issues important to the state as well as railing against the unpopular liberal and far left ideas of the democrats. Then, for the next two weeks, she'll focus on New Hampshire, working to rally support around her name by meeting with people and pledging to fight for them. If she fails to get higher than double digits in the polls by September, she'll drop out of the race.

BREAKING NEWS - Senate passes cloture vote to proceed with hearings for Sri Srinivasan

Following intense efforts by the Biden White House, with significant help from Democratic Senators such as Sherrod Brown, enough moderate Republicans have joined the Democrats in passing a cloture vote in order to grant the Biden nominee a hearing. This is a major defeat for Majority Leader McConnell, however it is still unknown whether Srinivasan will actually be confirmed by the Senate.

May/June Schedule for Nikki Haley

May 1: Announce campaign in Charleston, South Carolina

May 2-5: Meet with voters in Charleston, South Carolina (With Nancy Mace)

May 6: Meet with voters in Orangeburg, South Carolina

May 7-9: Meet with voters in Columbia, South Carolina

May 10: Appear on Anderson Cooper 360

Quote
Cooper: Coming on the program tonight we have former U.N Ambassador, Governor and now canidate for the Republican nomination, Nikki Haley. Ambassador Haley great to have you on.

Haley: Glad to be here, Anderson.

Cooper: So Ambassador, I wanted to start off with a question about were you align in the Republican party. Do you consider yourself more aligned with the Trump wing of the party or more establishment or something else entirely?

Haley: Well Anderson, I don't like to be pigeonholed like that. The Republican party is a big tent and we welcome all sorts of conservative ideologies. As a nominee, I can bring all of those wings together.

Cooper: If elected, you would be the first woman to be President of the United States. How does that impact your campaign?

Haley: It's true, I would be the first woman to take the office. But I hope for people not to vote for me just for that reason. I would hope people support me because they believe I have strong policies. By winning I hope to show the left that you don't need to divide people up by identity to help disadvantaged groups succeed.

Cooper: You have both praised and criticized former president Trump in the past. What are your overall thoughts on him as a person, and how do you feel about his son announcing a candidacy?

Haley: I was very happy to work with president Trump as U.N ambassador and support his re-election. I felt his policies were strong and that he deserved a second term. Of course, I didn't agree with everything he did, especially in regards to the Kurds in Syria but that happened after I left the administration. As for his personal conduct, I didn't always approve especially in regards to his treatment of women. But that disapproval didn't mean I wouldn't work with him to do great things for our country. As for Donald Jr.'s candidacy, I don't see how he has any qualifications. HE's been handed everything in his life on a silver platter and now he wants to be the most powerful man in the world. We can't nominate him.

Cooper: Alright, Ambassador Haley, thank you.

May 12: Meet with voters in Asheville, North Carolina (With Thom Tillis)

Excerpt from stump speech:
Four years ago in North Carolina, you chose decency. You chose a true conservative champion over a radical liberal who cheated on his wife. I promise you this, North Carolina. I will bring decency to the White House. I will create a more compassionate nation. I hope you'll chose me on Super Tuesday.

May 13: Meet with voters in Marshall and Hot Springs, North Carolina (With Thom Tillis)

May 22-24: Meet with voters in Davenport, Iowa (With Kim Reynolds)

Excerpt from speech on May 23:

My new trade plan will save states like Iowa that have been hit hard by over-regulation of our trade system. Tariffs are a discredited way of producing government revenue that leftists keep trying to push on us. Iowan farmers know how hard it is to keep afloat if they are having to pay double for essential supplies. My plan will protect American workers from their jobs going away, not from new jobs coming here.

May 25: Meet with voters in Walcott, Durant and West Branch

Twitter response to Judge Srivinisan's nomination:
Quote
Judge Srivinisan is a qualified individual to serve on the supreme court. However, he is not the kind of judge I would appoint as president. I will leave the decision to the senate.

June 11: Meet with voters in Ames, Iowa (With Kim Reynolds)

Twitter response to Kamala Harris's "Domestic Terrorists" comment
Quote
Vice President Harris's violent attacks on conservatives degrade the tone of our national conversation and sow division in our people. I promise to be a unifying voice as president.

June 12: Meet with voters in Clear Lake, Iowa (With Kim Reynolds)

June 12-15 Meet with voters in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Give campaign rally on the 14th

Excerpt from speech:
Now as I understand, just a few days ago in this very city Mr. Mike Lindell announced a campaign for the presidency. He began this ugly campaign with attacks on the Vice President's religion. Know this, I was married in both Sikh and Christian weddings. There will be no place for religious intolerance in my America. We can attack our opponents without going after their personal faith. We can disagree without being disagreeable. If we go down a path of division, we will lose and we will deserve to lose.

June 16:  Take a flight from Minneapolis to Hartford

June 17: Meet voters in Worcester, Massachusetts

June 18: Town Hall in Lowell, Massachusetts

June 19: Meet voters in Boston, Massachusetts

Twitter response to senate cloture vote on Sri Srinivasan:
Quote
I have learned that a vote will go forward on judge Srinivasan. I respect the senate's decision and as I've said before he is very well qualified, and that I only disagree on his judicial philosophy. The final decision will be up to the senate.
