Does it strike the same time of year? If so it probably significantly effects the remainder of the primaries which occurred beginning and after Super Tuesday.

The questionable Ebola (which thank God never actually took off in the US) response from 2014 would be a recent memory and Obama would look terrible.  Ironically, Trump would be the ideal candidate to attack an incumbent for not doing enough to close borders, etc.  This would basically be Republican 2008.  Trump wins the PV by at least 5%.
