That's unfortunate. How populist are we talking here? Not that it matters, since I'm supporting him over Santorum regardless, but still...
He's pro-life. Supports gay civil unions, against gay marriage but also against the FMA. I don't know anything about his positions on gun control or other social issues but he did say he would've voted for Alito.
