Yeah, you're right. Laffey won't win but neither will Chafee. I don't care that you get your laugh in but I do ask you to tell your friends on your side that the Dems don't have a good shot when someone like Jim Webb is polling in the low-mid 30s in the Virginia Senate race.

And I'm still keeping RI as Republican, unless any further polls look similar (or Laffey pulls ahead)

As of right now, Chafee is going to lose.

The primary?  I thought he was leading?

I wasn't talking about the primary. He'll win that but lose in November.

Really?  Why do you think that?  My prediction:

WHITEHOUSE 49%
CHAFEE 48%

I'm holding off on precentages for a few months but as of now I'd say that Whitehouse would take the seat by two-three points.
