The virus is spreading like wildfire through the halls of Congress. At this point, it would be a miracle if Pelosi, McConnell, and the other party leaders didn't get it.

I'm not sure I would call McConnell not getting covid a miracle if you catch my drift

I second that.  This is a man who likely wants the economy to fail because it will hurt Biden.

Obviously, this isn't anywhere near what Cox needs, correct?
There are only 6,000 Votes outstanding at most in CA-21 with Valadao holding a 1,700 Vote-lead it's near impossible for Cox to make up this gap!

Correct.. personally I think the race is over.

There's still around 1500 votes to be counted in Kings, and that should be a good buffer for Valadao if Cox actually comes close to the margins he needs in the last Kern vote dump (which he hasn't come close to so far).

So, Gordon conceded despite not a single Absentee Vote being counted in NY-2? That's a bit odd since NY-2 lies in Nassau County which starts its Absentee Vote Count tomorrow. I am guessing she saw that she was too far behind.

Don't expect a Race Call from the AP, NYT or the Networks soon though as they are behaving terribly this Election Cycle.

I thought Nassau counted most absentees and it was Suffolk that was dragging it out.

Yeah Nassau has 60% of their absentees countywide already counted. Suffolk is counting as well now and Gordon camp probably has some knowledge of the vote count there and decided the lead is insurmountable based on the partial counts in Suffolk.

Chenango County is GOP-Turf. Could it be that this County saves Tenney?

NY-22 is pretty clearly going to a recount and succeeding legal battle. This won't be over for weeks. But I'm feeling the Brindisimentum.

It appears that its all of the non-ED Chenango County vote out, plus some challenged ballots from other counties still trickling in. Its going to be very close unless there was some kind of error in the count.

That actually is not a very good vote dump for Brindisi, particularly if Oneida has now shot its wad. If almost all the remaining ballots are from a county that is not likely to exceed 70% for Brindisi, Chenango, with maybe 4500 ballots to count, you can do the math. Tilt Tenney. Sad!

You can add Doug Lamborn, my Representative, to this list as well, so that makes it eight.

Mike Espy actually kept it closer than Unbeatable Titans Barbara Bollier, Al Gross, and Jaime Harrison.

Wait not nationalizing the race and getting tens of millions in resistance bucks can help?

Mississippi is wildly inelastic on both ends.

Would be nice if all counties publicly updated their totals as they count instead of seemingly giving different information to various media sources in NY.

Also Re: Wasserman tweets - pretty sure his provisional count is incorrect, it basically assumes there are virtually no provisionals in Oneida which would be contradictory to what is being observed in other counties in the district. Also some challenged ballots (maybe 500 or so in Broome and Oneida) that would heavily break towards Brindisi once they're inevitably counted.

Welp. We knew this yesterday, but it's still a shame.

"House Dems breathe a huge sigh of relief."

Really, when they lost everything else in the last few days that was in play in the House, except maybe NY-22, where I would rather be Tenney at the moment (well I would never rather be Tenney ever at any level of the human experience, but I digress), when it comes to her hanging on for two more years maybe, before she is consigned to the ash heap of history.

One thing I hope from this election is hubris containment. It is out of control. When I go to hell, I don't want it to be too crowded.

ABC NEWS calls Andrew Garbarino the Congressman-elect in NY-2 replacing the retiring Pete King.

Their House Tally now stands at

220 Democrats
208 Republicans
7 Races uncalled

And here is my Final House Projection:

223 Democrats
212 Republicans

I've given NY-22 to the DEMS. I however do not see Garcia or Valadao losing in CA-25 & CA-21 at this Point.

Republicans would need 6 Seats to retake the House in 2022 under my Projection.

Why haven't they called for Katko or Maloney? Hard to see how either loses at this point
