I don't get why they aren't calling ca25. Christy smith hasn't gotten more than 53% in ANY LA county dump since 11/3.

she needs like 60% to catch up.

isn't that enough to call a race?
AP has yet to call CA-21 and Cox needs around 80%+ of the remaining ballots.. lol.

Wasserman hasn't quite seen enough yet in CA-25, but it's clear what he thinks the final outcome will be:

What this election deserved...and was not that far from having happen would have been for this IA-2 race to end in an exact tie while the Republicans won a few more close races, leaving the House at 217-217, to be decided on a coin flip.  Simultaneously, Trump should have done a little over half a point better across the board, narrowly holding Georgia, Arizona, and Wisconsin.  Democrats win both runoffs in Georgia with the assumption that the House will re-elect Trump.

House: 217-217
Senate: 50-50

Lets say the house was still 221 or so, its theoretically possible that Pelosi could deny quorum and make Joe Biden president by electing him speaker.

Seems the fairest thing to do in the event of the miniscule chance of a tie is each of the 2 candidates gets the seat for 1 year.

In primaries here, the county party chair picks the winner. There was a very small township race where each of the 2 candidates had 28 votes. Not sure if the county party chair picked a winner or talked to one of them and got one to drop out.

This article gives a really good summary of where things stand in IA-02:

The state of Iowa is set to certify statewide results on Monday at 3:00 pm. I imagine IA-02 will be a legal battle for awhile even after Monday, though?

Scott County is a total mess now. 131 Ballot Discrepancy between canvassed Count on November 11th and the Recount.

Representatives from both Campaigns expect the IA-2 Race to be settled in Court!

As far as i can tell, batsh*t crazy Kathy Barnette in PA-04 has not conceded yet to Madeleine Dean. She lost by nearly 20%.

She hasn't tweeted since 11/11, and before that it was... insane

I don't want to sound offensive but I seem to notice that black republicans tend to be more nutjoby/crazy than other republicans. Anyone else notice that?

Some are. But you also have people like Will Hurd, Tim Scott and Michael Steele who are decidedly not crazy.

At this point, Steele is a RINO

Anyone who doesn’t tow the GOP line is a RINO, apparently.

If this holds, is there any doubt that Syracuse is going into NY-22 in 2 years? Makes a lot of sense to give Brindisi and Katko safer districts with NY's gerrymander.

God Damn it
To both of you: CALM DOWN!

NY Supreme Court Justice DelConte put an injunction in yesterday preventing the 8 Counties involving the NY-22 Congressional District from certifying Election Results. There are tons of challenged Ballots on his Desk on which he must rule after Thanksgiving!
