I don’t know why - I’ve been a dimmer this whole race but was turning that tcornwr the last few weeks but now all of a sudden today I have dread. I think today is a tossup and a trump win is not out of the question at all. I’d call it a true tossup. I think the early vote numbers are whatever - they’re just the same Dem votes must cast earlier due to the anti Trump sentiment and the pandemic.

And I think the senate is simply not happening. It’s broke the GOP Way in the last few days and I’d bet $100 easily that we don’t even get a 50/50 split.

This is not an argument and never has been. It's a convenient way for Biden hacks to ignore anyone who raises concerns about election day.

Bernie lost. Get over it.

Oh for f**k's sake . . .

Anytime someone has raised concerns about Biden's chances, the response invariably is "DoOmER!!!!" without any attempt made to engage their concerns.

You guys aren’t raising concerns. You are just concern trolling and outright ignore any positive data.

It is bad faith through and through.

Exactly. The post in question is just speculation with nothing to back it up. Excuse us if we feel we don’t have to respond in good faith

So Biden and Kamala will not be together tonight? What is the Biden/Harris plan for tonight? Will he making a speech at a hotel or his home?

Can’t help but wonder if this election is like a reverse American version of the 2019 uk election: one party has a large and consistent lead, with some polls showing tightening but the averages remaining stable, and said party goes on to win big. There are parallels beyond that too.

GOP needs to be running ahead by more than 51% compared to 48.5% in 2016. That’s nowhere near enough, and that’s not accounting for the Democrat rush that’ll happen later.

That analysis is really pathetic and disingenuous when you consider that the county is probably at near 100% of 2016 turnout prior to Election Day.

Well I guess we will find out once and for all which channel is fake news because we're getting two completely different versions of reality.

Panic time

1) Republicans had a rush at opening but Democrats are now keeping pace.

2) This doesn't include Miami Dade, where there are a lot of outstanding Democratic votes.

They are not keeping pace, it only slowed down a bit for Rs because hardly it could go better.

If dems are leading in Broward by 2k how do you think are they doing in MD? They are losing election day in PB by 8k so far

Also regardless of the D/R leads, people are continuing to ignore those 2M+ NPA votes

The republican burnoff isn’t going to slow down. margins will be far more favorable for Biden as the day progresses. It’s inevitable

Love to extrapolate results based on the first two hours of voting just like I love to extrapolate how a state will vote based on the first three precincts that report their numbers.

At this point it's the only thing why Biden could win it.

DeSantis echoing other terrible pundits that are ignoring that there has been like 3M more early votes this year in 2016.

ED Vote was always going to favor Reps, that was a given. It's way too early to infer anything from these returns.

We'll have a better picture around 5-7pm because that's when democrats tend to turn out in higher volumes.

Where have you heard this? This is the only thing I could find concerning their election night plans for tonight:

EDIT - they'll all be together tonight:

Margins in Florida have already begun to even out for E Day. Republicans simply don’t have the E Day margin people thought they would.

Can we wait until the afternoon to make statements like this? Wasserman just clowned himself by extrapolating from 7:30AM data and we're about to make the same mistake an hour later?

I’m going on what Cohn stated...

Yep he's really saying that..
