RIP Doug Jones' senate career. He was a gem in the moderate faction of the party and a true FF. Hope we can call him Attorney General in January.

I still think Rick Scott 2018 was the most impressive Republican Senate victory of the last decade, even more so than the 2010 MA-SEN special election. Beating a three-term Democratic incumbent who had a history of winning landslides in a Trump +1 swing state in a massive Democratic wave environment when the party couldn’t even win WV/OH/MT and underperformed the partisan baseline in every other competitive state was quite a feat. If Republicans hold the Senate this year, they’ll owe it to Scott's candidacy.
