The margin is too wide, but Smith ending up with about 53% of the vote is reasonable after all. I'd day 53-44%.

Smith's lead seems a bit inflated, but in any race where a +17 poll is possible is at least likely.

Don't forget that you have to adjust her margin on the Selzer curve. Ernst's mega coattails will put Smith at only a a low single digit lead.
