So what this does is to make sure that people aren't fired/discriminated  for their political views, for instance, if someone supports Labor or the Peace Party, they aren't fired by their employers that support the Federalists and this can apply to Federalists, so they don't get discriminated for who they support in the workplace.

Does this apply to white supremacists or people like QAnon believers? Like if someone posted a pro QAnon message on their Facebook would they be immune to being fired?

Yes, I think this bill, along with the book ban act, are far too narrow in their scope. This bill does not account for the scenario that S019 outlined and I cannot say that I would support legislation that prevents an employer from firing someone who does not align with their values.

To address some concerns, I'll make an amendment to the bill.

Ishan, not to be rude, but I wonder if you’re actually interested in writing legislation or if you’re lazily cobbling together a few loose thoughts. We need legislation that is more focused and fleshed out than just “employers can’t fire someone for their political views unless they have extreme views.” Please consider resubmitting this bill with a bit more effort.

I'll withdraw the sponsorship. I should probably resign or something after I resubmit the "Alcohol Policy Adjustment Act" given that everything I do is horrible and shouldn't be allowed, even with effort.

Is there objection to Ishan's withdrawal of the bill?
