The Ukrainian angle to this story always seemed like a poor opportunity to me - even if there's truth to this, it's so incredibly convoluted that it will just get lost in the conversation like most of the details of the Mueller Report. If Republicans wanted to zero in on a swampy exchange, Trump should have been cutting deals with China for information about the Bidens' dealings there.
