I starting to think that almost all of Cunningham's "over-performance" (even pre-scandal) stemmed more from Tillis underperforming than anything else.

Right now Cooper is up 4.5 percentage points. A solid, respectable performance in a swing state such as North Carolina, but he underperformed nearly all expectations (especially as a scandal free incumbent).
