Looking back at 2016 polls, Trump's numbers were all over the place but Clinton was consistently under 40, which on election night did come true (37%!) and spelled disaster for her in the surrounding swing states, so if Biden is cracking 40, that's a good sign for him for Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio.

Trump 48%, Clinton 29% in 2016. Basically Trump is at his raw 2016 vote and Biden outrunning Hillary by 11 points. Horrible poll for Trump, very good for Biden.
