Climbed the highest mountain in Idaho yesterday.
Utah yesterday. 30 miles in one day. One of the most incredible things I have ever done. Also one of the most idiotic. 100% worth it.

Yes, Kings Peak is a beautiful peak. I have never climbed it though. I was in the Unita Mountains in July, however.

Also goes to show you that the simplistic, "14ers are the hardest!" out west is simply not true.

Utah is a beautiful but has too many conservative rethugs for me who do not live within reality.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Unitas from me:

Took these in Mid July 2022.

School starts that late for you? Funny, I don't live that far south of you (given that you're from Contra Costa County), and it started 9 days before that for me. I also consider it unusual that your school begins on a Friday.

Ah. When does summer vacation start for you? Down here, for public schools at least, it’s either late May or early June (this year it was the first Friday/Saturday in June; it’s presumably always that or the last Friday/Saturday in May).

I think the academic year ended on like May 31, but the week up to that Friday was finals and stuff so about June 3.

I am on a road trip on the other side of Italy. In the past two days I've been to the regions of Molise and Abruzzo for the first time in my life and visited places in Umbria and Marche for the first time in 15 years. Now I am only missing Apulia (and actual stops in Basilicata)!

I think it's funny Vaccinated Bear or Marty if they are the same people or not they kept saying Biden is at 41% approvals where are they now along with Big Serg, nowhere to be found , because Ds aren't tracking like 2010/2014, I bet if they were they will be in this Atla

But, as I said before there is other blogs

D's use this one more because D's win

I’m heavier than I thought, I was thinking I was around 180 and I’m actually 200, which is where I was about 2 years ago, difference is a lot more of that is muscle compared to before because 2 years ago I wasn’t doing anything most days for exercise, now I walk a couple miles a day on average and do some weight exercises

How stupid is it to open a bottle at this time on a Sunday night?
I guess it'll be sunglasses and a mask in the office tomorrow...

I will be so glad when Ds get 52 plus Sen seats that means Rs are locked out of the Sen in 24 and DC Statehood OH, NC, FL 15% Blk, 26 Latino and Arabic and 55/45 white females vote D's

Biden today is at 46/48 Vaccinated Bear and Matty and Big Serg, Biden has a 41% Approval rating, he who laugh has the last laugh

I have been doing this since 2004 you don't make an exact map even in 2010 Sestak and Giannoulias had a chance to win, they should of wob

2008 OR, NC, AK, GA, MN were all safe and Norm Coleman almost won and Chambliss went to a runoff and internals had Liddy Dole ahead why , because there is 20% Blk in GA and NC, made it closer than it should of been, just like Beasley has a chance, Dean Martin would have been a great Senator

By the way we won 319 not 306 because we won NC Governor

In one of the most Altas-y things I'll probably ever do, I've signed up to be an exit poll volunteer for the AALDEF on election day. Very excited to do my small part to help fuel inane arguments on PG&D and Presidential Election Trends for the next two years!

Job search has begun. 7 applications so far and I've landed my first interview. It's a technical interview, not merely a screening interview.
