Well folks, catmusic is officially 24 now! I got to celebrate with my sweet, adorable boyfriend, who has the same birthday as me; bizarre I know. I kind of love it though. It was a very lovely day :)

Once I saw a guy on a bridge about to jump. I said "don't do it!" He said, "nobody loves me." I said "Gen Z loves you. Are you part of Gen Z?" He said "Yes." I said "me too! early Gen Z or late Gen Z?" He said "early Gen Z." I said "me too! Born before 9/11 or after 9/11?" He said, "before 9/11." I said "me too! 1997-1998 or 1999-2001?" He said, "1999-2001." I said, "me too! 1999, 2000, or 2001?" He said, "1999." I said, "me too! Did you turn 21 after lockdown started?" He said, "before lockdown started." I said, "me too!" January 2020 or February 2020?" He said, "February 2020." I said, "me too! What day?" He said, "February 24th." I said, "me too! What time?" He said, "8:32 AM." I said, "die, oldsh**t boomer!" And I pushed him over.
(I don't know if he's the same year as you, but he is for the sake of this joke)

I made my prediction for Secularist Filibuster proof Trifecta we are gonna net gain a seat in S and 5 seat minimum in the H and have the same Govs MS, KY and NC D and LA going R

Senate Zeke Manning and Kunce win and we lose WV S

Enough is enough we are tired of R obstruction it's been going on since 2013 when RS obstruct the Nomination process

It's very likely after Amendment it's gonna be 3O K not 5 M because that's the max on Navajo and Apache gets for Per Capita

Filibuster proof Trifecta says you can't block indefinitely but amend the Bill it's likely Ernst whom is up in 26 and Collins put an amendment capping reparations 30 K what should I do with 30 K save for retirement

Johnson if he doesn't vote on Voting Rights is gonna lose in 28

New baby in the family from my cousin was born today, the first in over 22 years. I'm most glad my grandmother, who's turning 91 this year and still healthy, will be able to see her as all of us soon. Smiley

Earlier this week, I got accepted to grad school (the school on the bottom of my list, but still) but rather than feeling any kind of relief or pride, I've just been stressed that now I have to make a concrete plan for the future, and that work is never done. Sometimes I feel like I'm not cut out for adult life, which is probably a normal fear but I don't know how other people overcome it. I just wish I could feel good about this instead of thinking "oh great, here we go again".

Had a blast riding the rails today. After chasing pow for the longest time, I forgot how fun a day in the park can be.

I am about to fly to Lisbon for a holiday with two friends of mine! I have only been there for a layover before and I have long wanted to spend more time in Portugal.

Weren't we supposed to do Spring Break there? Smiley

It is a great city but unfortunately much of the center of the city has basically become the Epcot version of itself with all the tourists and tourist trap businesses.

...Yeah. The shops in Old Town in no way contribute to the charm. It's the walk up Petrin that really gives you a sense of awe.

I've been approved for volunteer work in Turkey, but rn the accommodations involve bringing your own tent and sleeping bag (and I'm far and away from the ones I already own). Squinting

Users think it's a sad day if RS don't win no it won't I cried happily when 2006 we finally won and I won't cry but will have tears in my eyes when Ds finally break the Filibuster it's called Corporate Greed that give all the wealth to people like Trump at least Pat Mahomes and Oprah are Ds and support Reparations and Bill Cosby

WC are so anxious to buy season passes to see Pat Mahomes he supported Reparations because of Kobe and George Floyd funeral that's why I have a nut map

Old School post all the time about Sports and they support reparations the blk athletes because they golf with Tiger Woods and Eddy Murphy not Trump that Whites like Tom Brady golf with

What Eday do I turn to on You tube 2008 and 2012 with Biden on ballot that Users keep underestimate because some Approvals have him underwater and if we were underwater we still secured a Neutral yr in Midterms

Oprah made Women's of Brewster's place that talked about single mom urban poverty now in a Pandemic it's blk men on Skid row in urban poverty it flipped

So Budapest takes the cake thus far, at least visually. And it shows... over 30,000 steps since I arrived this morning.

Yeah, Petřín is lovely. I also think Malá Strana and the Jewish Quarter are a lot more tolerable than the heart of the Old Town.

I guess last night I ticked "partying outside with international strangers met at the hostel in [European city]" off the list of things to do when you're in your twenties (and I am definitely not a club person). Almost as good as the azulejos or the live fado.

Budapest is beautiful. Had the opportunity to study there for several months a few years ago. The city (and the country really) wears its history right on its face.

Also ended up seeing an Orban rally while I was there, though that was a good deal less beautiful.

Bus ticket for Serbia: purchased
Plane ticket to eastern Turkey: purchased
Turkish e-visa: received

*heavy breathing*

It's time to feel like garbage for two weeks while turning down jobs and pretending to help with an earthquake!

I still have yet to cancel on the NGO in Moldova.

There are no such thing as tax cuts rich pays high property taxes and real estate insurance on businesses and homes and wealth is handed down most law firms, it's so difficult without 3(4 yrs of experience to land a law firm job because it's handed down to generation and generation

I argued with Big he said blks taxes will be raised on Reparations no it won't the Warren Wealth tax brings in 3T in money on people making over 450K and whites make 75K and blks make 35K whom gonna pay for Reparations Whites

Most blks succeed in liife are Store Manager 40K not lawyers or Doctors 75K that's why so many minority land retail jobs because blk women are the hiring manager

Go to a job fair for Walmart all blk female Human Resources

As I said the wave depends on OH Brown not Ryan is on the ballot as in 2008 can Ds win 9 seats they could not inevitable the same as D's win the wave TX in 24 they could

Because it's income inequality that trumps everything else

I am back to Italy after the best holiday of my life, which happened quite unexpectedly like so many good things do, and which also made me reflect a lot about... all.
