Who is the most underrated poster on the forum in your opinion?

I don't really know but tack50 might be a good candidate. Or maybe meme answer: Santander.

I don't think NOVA gets enough credit.  His posts are always super insightful even if we differ politically.

Tack50 is great. I also like Fubart, Wazza, Alex the Argentinian, and Alcibiades.

Another candidate may be Fubart Solman.

I'd like to think that I bring a certain je ne sais quoi to the forum - whether you call it charm, whimsy, absurdity, or aspirational alcoholism - that too often goes under-appreciated.

Posters who have recently posted and do not include myself:

1. RGM2906. The last underloved Euro thread bumper. The greatness of the Romania thread as an interesting and active thread is what makes Atlas so great, yet it is so underloved
2. Most Latin American avatar posters, including Lumine. Grand personalities and such interesting narratives written off and barely noticed. I include them as a category as they’d take up too much space naming them all. Go take a gander at the Chilean and Brazilian threads y’all
3. Velasco/Alex (Argentine)/third party duo: the two previous Spanish-speaking posters who have done much in educating us on the home front. Very civil and always detailed posts. The duo, Altworlder and statebliler, have kept one of the best threads on the 2020 board alive and active even against the odds and to the chagrin of some.
4. Urutzizu/Heat: it’s a tie between the interesting perspectives and reality of their observations in an American board
5. Omega61: strong personality that is active
6. Fubart Solman: the new New Zealander. Much better than the mainstream on Atlas
7. NOVA Green mainly because of how strong his personality is. He should be revered at Hillgoose or Olowakandi levels imo
8. Joseph Cao/sam094/Anarcho-communist. While Joseph Cao is a breakout star, his dedication to Atlasia and the Malaysia thread is something else
9. Cassandra: username fits the poster. Oft ignored when there is great insight coming from the poster
10. Big Abraham/Sword of Damocles: this one is controversial including these semi-stars. However, given the amazing #debate On the LTV by BA and SoD’s grande proportion thread—yeah, they should be held on a much higher pedestal

Special mentions: Arch, New Frontier

I'd like to think that I bring a certain je ne sais quoi to the forum - whether you call it charm, whimsy, absurdity, or aspirational alcoholism - that too often goes under-appreciated.
False. Outside of Olowakandi basically sucking up all the oxygen for nonsensical narrative posts with his sheer volume, but the changing avatar/username thing is already being done by Hillgoose. I can remember, begrudgingly, the last post by Hillgoose—you became white noise after the nuisance factor went away

I see the yellow avatar has emboldened you to engage in John Dule-esque self-promotion.

In any case, je ne sais quoi is pretty good, when most posters are closer to je ne sais pas.

Absolutely. When he’s not bashing the fash, he can be VERY interesting. Plus I respect his reverence for the troops and his fallen friend.

I concur, khuzifenq is very insightful especially on the topic of electoral demographics and geography.

KaiserDave.

Only KaiserDave would have the brass cojones to run a Weimar Germany game, and he does it so well.

I got so in character when I was playing as Hitler in that game, that I actually got scared.

That's the mark of a great GM.
