McConnell hasn't had to try as much as in some other cycles so can afford to leave his margin lower and focus on other issues besides his easy 2020 race.

While Atlas has done a better job of recognizing how safe this race is for McConnell, I wish the #resistance crowd could've seen these polls plastered over their Facebook and Twitter pages to encourage them to donate to more winnable races instead.

I am surprised that McConnell actually has a positive approval rating.

Good to see Andy’s is still much higher though.

Safe R, as it has always been. McGrath might make this a tighter margin than 2014, but anything closer than high single digits is beyond reach for her at this point. Hopefully, McConnell is entering his last term, and will retire in 2026. This century does not need to be disgraced with his loathsome presence as a public figure longer than it has been and will be.

Cameron will not be his successor in 2026. He's finished after the Breonna Taylor case

McConnell will be McConnell's successor in 2026. I think he'll remain too useful for Republicans to lose the leadership and too power-hungry to want to retire when he's still capable of controlling the caucus, which itself is odds-on.

Dear God, help us if McConnell runs for reelection in 2026. I wouldn't put it past him to do so, and there's the possibility that he's a "lifer", someone who remains in office until they die.

He probably won't run, he only ran this time due to his wife Elaine Chao working for Trump and she was friends with Linda Chavez when she was Labor Secretary under Bush W. We will probably have a two term D administration due to Baldwin, Rosen, Stabenow, Casey and Kaine running for reelection, the 278 map is a lock

I've seen several DSCC ads mention McGrift.
