Luntz's focus groups are always out of step. He said Pence won the VEEP debate.

Not according to any scientific poll. Even Nate Cohn's poll of WI and MI had Harris as the winner of the debate.

Always amazed how well the "One America" "Unite America" rhetoric works for Obama and Biden.

People really eat this up. Maybe I am too cynical at my relatively young age, but it doesn't work for me- but the largely independent, non-political junkie audience seems to love it.

It actually gives me hope for America- maybe we really are a pure heart, clear eyes type of place.

214 million birds are killed by vehicles a year? That's like 1 per driver. I've hit 1 in my whole life. 2 & a half billions by cats? That's like 25 per year by each cat.

Well, I don’t know about the data itself, but I would assume vehicles means all vehicles (including planes), not just cars.

Cats suck.

I once read an article that said cats are such a major problem in metro areas that there is no chance of eradicating them, they just control population within limits.

Basically they are an invasive species that negatively affect our environment in many ways.

I think voter preferences are pretty locked in at this stage. Biden voters will probably say Biden won and Trump voters will say the reverse. There were no major meltdowns on either side tonight.

That's a much closer Party ID than the last one.

Looks like Biden is 4-0 in national debates

And Trump is 0-5.

I just rewatched it and he said “go ahead”.

Yep, definitely "go ahead". You can tell based on his intonation.

Ugh, Damn it. Biden should still run ads on it anyway

The problem is not Frank Luntz. (well, not entirely) The problem is the focus group. Anyone who is still "undecided" is a closet Trump supporter, someone grasping for an excuse to vote for Trump, or a f**king moron. Obviously, he picked the focus group, but undecideds have been his bread and butter for years, and it's not his fault that group is the worst they've ever been.

CNN's undecided groups essentially went all for Biden.

Yeah these checkout, I know even a housecat kills a bunch of birds and rodents per year if it has any kind of woods around it.

Wait, Biden just called Trump "Abraham Lincoln"??

Abe Lincoln over here....

He'll be here for 4 years people.

Do you people REALLY not understand that Joe was clearly mocking Trump comparing himself to Lincoln, NOT comparing him to Lincoln himself???

I thought it couldn’t be more obvious if he hit you with a sledgehammer.
I'll be here all week... as in Comic Joe will be Prez until 2024.

A friend of mine texted me today that she found a mouse in her house. And then 3 minutes later she said her cat killed it and was playing with the corpse, lol.

Oh absolutely. Cats are evil ers. They did studies here in the UK to demonstrate that the average well fed, well loved house cat still kills large numbers of endangered birds, mammals, amphibians and the like every year
