What is the ideology of MVC and PD? I know PIP are the pro-independence party (maybe seeing how they poll at 2% will convince everyone that PR does not want independence)

MVC is an anti-corruption party on the left that also advocates for a final “decolonization” of Puerto Rico (but they would support either statehood or independence, just not the status quo). As I understand it, their leadership mostly comes from the independence movement, but their voters are probably mostly disaffected PPD and some left-winger PNPers.

PD is a Christian conservative religious party with ties to mainland evangelical groups. I believe they are pro-statehood, but it is not their main issue. Most of their voters should be ex-PNP right-wingers.
