Rush Limbaugh says his lung cancer is terminal

New York (CNN Business)Rush Limbaugh, the conservative talk show radio host, is battling stage 4 lung cancer and said Monday he's had a setback in his prognosis.

"The scans did show some progression of cancer," he told listeners of his radio show. He later added: "It's not dramatic, but it is the wrong direction."

The 69-year-old was diagnosed with lung cancer in February.

Limbaugh said his doctors changed his medications in "hopes of keeping additional progression at bay for as long as possible." Prior to this week's update, he said that cancer "had been reduced, and it had become manageable."

"It's tough to realize that the days where I do not think I'm under a death sentence are over," Limbaugh said. "Now, we all are, is the point. We all know that we're going to die at some point, but when you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it."

Jobs's cancer didn't have to be terminal, he just elected not to treat it with medicine.

Well, I view teasing and triggering others with my username and signature a tad different than wishing death on them, but if you think they are equivalent I'm not sure how to help.

In so far as 'wishing death on (others)' and teasing and triggering are all just words, I think they are much more equivalent than you want to believe.

However, if you do go out of your way to 'trigger others' here, then that places you as a nasty troll and is much worse than passively wishing death on others.

Anyways, I in no way believe that us liberals should be celebrating the untimely lung cancer diagnosis/progression of Mr Limbaugh.
I think we should all hope for the best and that we will be able to breathe easily again knowing we are not stooping down to the level of Qanoners.

Even if this news is a breath of fresh air, and even though I am tempted to laugh at the top of my lungs, it’s simply important we don’t act like complete a**holes.

Terminal lung cancer is no joke, and if I were Mr Limbaugh, I wouldn’t hold my breath on a possible cure, but I hope for the best.
