I saw Joe Rogan in a documentary from 2014 called The Culture High where he was one of the talking heads with some big brained people where many of the other commenters had thought provoking ideas about the corrosive nature on society, the United States legal system and whatnot of marijuana being illegal, and here was Joe Rogan, in contrast, offering trite and cliched opinions.

The problem with him isn't his so much his politics but that he's very very dumb. He once claimed the Bible is tough to take seriously because it's "written so weirdly" and how weird we'd find someone today who spoke using "thou" and "thy" and then claimed the New Testament was "translated from Ancient Hebrew to Latin and then translated to Greek before being translated to English."

the best part of these is how easy it is to tell whose actually listened to him and those that have only read about him in something biased that hates him.

He's not anti-trans, he just has a problem with trans women competing in contact sports with cis women (especially fighting sports and doubly especially if the trans woman doesn't tell the person she's fighting that she is trans), just like millions of other liberals and progressives.  He's ignorant of how the Bible was produced, just like millions of other liberals and progressives.

But he isn't a genius, there are many things he doesn't understand (two things he regularly admits) and he lets people of all kinds have a (huge) platform and gives them time to speak, so of course the red avatars here are going to hate him.  You be you Atlas!
