So...how does St Pete have Biden up by this much in Pinellas, yer still only slightly winning Florida statewide?

I get that Miami-Dade will swing rightwards because of Cubans, but it can’t be by that much.

Seminole and Duval not flipping and Trump crushing the panhandle will do it

Gillum flipped it in a much more favourable year for Republicans. I don't see why Biden shouldn't.

If this is true then Biden will dominate central and southwestern Florida. Truly bad numbers for the don

Yeah, there's a very real chance Sarasota could vote D for the first time since FDR.

Wait wait wait. If they didn't vote for Johnson in '64 they're damn sure not abandoning their great orange messiah now

Things can change. Orange Counties in CA and FL were Goldwater-Clinton. Sarasota was Trump +11 in 2016, and Obama lost it by only around 200 (!) votes in 2008. Not impossible that Biden wins it, especially if seniors are breaking hard for him.

Maybe it’s time to stop being so pessimistic about Florida and start believing.

On a side note is it pronounced puh-nellas or pie-nellas? I’ve heard both.

I believe it's PIH-NELL-ESS.

Charlie Crist and some old school people pronounce it "Pine-ellas" lol

Most other people pronounce it Pin-ellas
