Like I said in the last WV thread. Even if this poll was off by 10 or even 20, it would still safely be a Dem trend.

I think people see 2016 and reflexively think that West Virginia will just continue to trend R in 2020, but I think people underestimate how unpalatable Clinton was in this area. Obama, for his faults, kept a lot of counties in Western Kentucky and West Virginia close, but Trump came along, and his populist rhetoric + Clinton's universal hatred, and made the bottom fall out from under the Democrats.

But now that an inoffensive white dude is on the ticket, a lot of these voters are probably more comfortable voting Biden, at least for one last cycle.

Sure it might only last a cycle, but i think there is a very real possibility of a D trend in West Virginia.
