Trump squandered his chances of it, like he always does. There was no need for him to be secretive about it, possibly exposing Biden, Chris Wallace and so many people in his orbit. Or to needlessly endanger the Secret Service Agents. Maybe he should have taken this seriously from the start.

It's over, it did appear he had some sympathy bump last week, but it was erased by Harris Veep performance, Trump pulling out of the stimulus talks. We had Trump polls with 5 and then Trump decided not to do the virtual debate

Yeah but there was no UK election coming up.

As for this topic, I think in a non-election year Trump would've gotten one. It's different now when you're administration is on a mandate.

He could have gotten one had he humbled himself and accepted scientific advice on how to deal with his condition (by not doing any activities until he has quarantined for two weeks). Instead he continues to flout such advice, which explains why his chances of winning hasn't increased by any significant amount.

Initial polls were dismissive of this idea to begin with. If anything the supreme court nomination is a lot more moderate, or sympathetic to republican causes.
