It's now been two months since I was warned about mass deaths in Nova schools since Youngkin signed a bill banning mask mandates.

I am so glad I do not have kids. I couldn't imagine my anger during covid if I did.

Mass deaths?

Healthy & non-obese kids are at an infinitely higher risk of getting leukemia or lymphoma than dying to Covid.

My point is those mass deaths were never gonna happen. It was all about control .

In that case, based & Orwell pilled. Although I do think that part of it also comes from plain old stupidity & the fact that most western generations post WW2 are p*****s, and not just a lust for control.

I recently went back to Bosnia for a few days. If you wear a mask anywhere outside a hospital, are fairly young and look healthy, people look at you like a clown lol.

Made me remember why I love my people(s), in spite of all the problems.

Indeed, toxic masculinity to the point where you think wearing a piece of fabric/whatever makes you less of a man is a very Balkan trait. I would say Serb but tbh Bosnians and Croats are the exact same way.

Correct, all 3 are equally based, that is why I said I love all my peoples.

People with jobs outside their homes understood quickly that covid hysteria was a bunch of nonsense.

Do not think I did not know the actual agenda behind this all!

We are pretty much back to where we were last summer, with weekly deaths under 500 for the first time since last June:

Covid-related deaths in the U.S. are decreasing

Alot of people are getting booster shots, because of Jansen vaccine it was poorly construed when it was developed so they told the Jansen users to get the booster shot that's why it's decreased
.

As soon as you go to see your primary physician they ask for your vaccine card and when they see Jansen they send you to a booster shot

There is a definite increase in booster shot but my Dr said we don't need a 3rd shot, the flu yearly shot will help us

So, next Winter we don't need third booster shots no matter how severe it is, just the flu shot

I still don't understand what you guys mean when you say this.

Control to do what? You're describing a means, not an end. What do you think "they" want to do?

CDC mask mandate for travelers struck down by federal judge

Quote
A federal judge in Florida struck down on Monday the Biden administration's mask mandate for airplanes and other public transport methods.

US District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle said the mandate was unlawful because it exceeded the statutory authority of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and because its implementation violated administrative law.

It is unclear clear how quickly the ruling will be implemented at airports or train stations across the country or if the Justice Department will attempt to block the ruling and file an appeal.

Just last week, the CDC extended this mask mandate through May 3. The masking requirement applied to airplanes, trains, and other forms of public transportation.

Hopefully this ruling sticks. Even if the substance of the mask mandate made sense, the mandate still wrongly gave lawmaking powers to the TSA and CDC. These are not supposed to be legislative bodies.

If masks are so necessary, it should have been taken up by Congress instead of letting the TSA write law.

Other countries, including the UK, have already gotten rid of masks on planes.

I think the TSA should have abandoned the mask mandate months ago, but this ruling is absurd.

If you're going to overturn any TSA regulation, stop inspecting peoples shoes and toiletries on planes, which have literally killed no one ever.

But really, no district court judge should be overturning any of this even if it is stupid (like most TSA safety regulations are).  It's still the job of the TSA to regulate flight safety, and ultimately, they are an executive branch which is democratically accountable if the public doesn't like how they interpret flight safety.

This is very good news. The mandate should not have been extended again, and should have been allowed to lapse a few months ago when the CDC relaxed their masking recommendations.

I'm looking for an honest answer here.

Is there a sound scientific reason to mandate mask wearing on planes, trains, etc. while not even trying to encourage it anywhere else? I mean surely they know that a large percentage - probably a majority now? - of people on any given flight are probably going to enter a public place unmasked upon reaching their destination.

If there is a good reason for this mandate alone to stay, can I please get a basic explanation of why they want to keep this rule in place while not even trying to do anything else?

If not, why aren't they trying to either (1) encourage or even mandate masking in other places or (2) just give up and drop that rule? Is it because they feel they don't have the authority to do more mandates? If so then why aren't they trying to encourage it more?

Because planes and trains have the potential to spread the virus far away and to multiple places. It's not that it's any more likely to transmit on public transportation. Just the consequences of it spreading are worse.
