The true test is whether the TSA mask mandate is allowed to expire on March 18.

I actually saw a meme the other day that 90% of pregnant women who got the vaccine miscarried. No sourcing or anything. Meanwhile, the 2 or 3 pregnant women I know who got the vaccine had healthy babies. :shrugs:

That would be buck wild - there are something like 3 million births a year in the United States alone. If even 50% of those women got the vaccine, you're looking at almost a million and a half *known* miscarriages because of the vaccine. (In addition to the ones that occur already.) The birth rate would have dropped dramatically...but, of course, it's risen.

Maybe the governor should need permission from the legislature after a month or something, but they should be able to implement such restrictions immediately. For a deadlier and more contagious virus, it might be necessary.

It looks like the Biden Administration caved in to the flight attendants unions who were demanding that the mask mandate be extended. This certainly undermines the credibility of their "victory over coronavirus" message that they've been pushing recently.

As has been pointed out, NZ has similar case numbers but hospitals are coping and deaths are small-7 a day is the record so far. This is because when we had low cases we got vaccinated and boosted, elderly Hong Kongers didn't.
