Biden is not ahead 10% in Michigan lol. That's Whitmer numbers.

Michigan 3-4% Biden vs a Biden +7 national PVI seems more accurate. Down the road the state will be brutal for the Democrats. Nothing there is really favorable to Democrats.

Speaking of Governor Whitmer... the kidnap plot cannot look good for a President who has disparaged her at every turn. This has yet to have influence upon the polls.  This President has shown little ability to assuage those who disagree with his agenda.

Again, I don't understand this forum's dislike for Emerson-as I've explained elsewhere. But at any rate, it's clear that Michigan is swinging hard against Trump, and it will be the first of the three surprise Midwestern states to flip back to Biden.

It's mostly historical, since Emerson used to poll only by landline long after that stopped being a reasonable technique, and their results tended to be way off.  They've since improved their methodology and gotten better, but old habits die hard.
