You'll have to move first. Neither you nor Lewis is in district 3 after redistricting.

What's the cutoff date for declaring? Have we passd it?

The cutoff date is ten days before the election, so that would be today.  Any declarations made after today will not be valid for the purposes of appearing on the ballot (but write-in candidacies can still be declared at any time).

Just run in your own district. That way we can be in the Senate together. Wink

Yeah there is no currently declared candidate for D3 and 7 of the 14 registered voters in the district are already in some sort of office. Out of the remainder most are rather inactive.

Uhh wait okay didn't know PB was going to do that. So I'll just be dropping out. He's a better fit for the seat anyway.

I'm sorry I caught you by surprise like that Wildcard! It was not my intention at all! Cheesy

You don't have to drop out. We could have a good old fashioned election with debates and sppeches and the like. Smiley

I declare my candidacy for Senate in District 3.

Grin

But now I have no one to be my Lt. Governor Sad

Do you want to be appointed in the interim?  Cheesy (if so, I will appoint you immediately)

If I don't win my Senate race, I might move there to be your LTGOV.

In that case, I'll be running, but instead in District 2, as that's my new district.

Who's running in D2?

That would be me, the incumbent, DWTL, however I applaud your courage to run as you were going to rematch Lewis a matchup you just got humiliated in

Well the only vote in that election that wasn't self evident from the start was Preston's.

I want to announce my candidacy for the Southeast Magistrate election, if I'm allowed to, that  is. No matter how early it may be. I just want to get my foot in the Atlasian door somehow

Though it's great to see your enthusiasm, the position of Southeast Magistrate is an appointed one, and upon confirmation by a vote of Southeast citizens Magistrates serve till they resign or are recalled.

Might as well officially announce that I'm running for the Mideast Senate seat in June if it's not too early.

Okay, it seems all but certain that Brandon H is running for President, so I might as well declare that I am running for Senate in the Midwest.
