"Not a quitter" is just one more lie Donald Trump would like everyone to believe.

From a casino in French Lick, Indiana, to a dispute with condo owners in Panama and even in renewing “The Apprentice” reality show on NBC, Trump has time and again spotted the point of diminishing returns and quit.

Trump resigning would obviously lead to mass chaos both within the government and among his base. If he really wanted an escape hatch he would have left Mike Pence in charge when he was hospitalized for coronavirus.

Knowing when to quit is a good quality. Trump does not know when to quit.

Honestly, it's prolly better for the sake of the country he doesn't resign, 2020 is a free and fair election; if he loses, he loses, if he wins, he wins, simple as that.

He won’t resign before November 3rd. But after Election Day I think a resignation is honestly more likely than a concession speech from Trump. He could hold a press conference where he declares that even though he obviously won the election in a historic big beautiful landslide (despite what the fake news media is telling you), he feels that he has accomplished everything he set out to do as president. And having accomplished more in four years than every other president in history combined or whatever, he will be stepping down and leaving the country in the hands of Mike Pence. And even though he absolutely has never done anything wrong, he is asking President Pence to pardon him for anything related to the fake Russia witch hunt because he’s been treated very unfairly.

I could see that happening. But resign in honor? Lol nah.

Does Trump believe the truth that he is going to get blown out of the water, or does he really believe it's all fake news and fake polls?

So basically it would be little different then it is now.

Yeah, I wish I could believe this (that people are pushing him to resign), but Cooper always says stuff that is too good to be true. Not sure he's ever been right.

Does Trump believe the truth that he is going to get blown out of the water, or does he really believe it's all fake news and fake polls?

He knew Coronavirus was more deadly than the seasonal flu back in February. Does that answer your question?

I would love to believe this, even though he obviously never ever will, because his pride and ego is always always first and foremost while the country's needs takes a back seat. However, it's tough to. First, it's tough to believe that many Republicans really think that is resigning only a few weeks before the election would do anything other than devastate them even worse at the poles next month.

Secondly, even if they do believe it's for the best for the party - - again, what's best for the country is relevant to these folks-- and even if they believe Donnie is sinking like the Titanic, I have a hard time seeing any of them short of Ivanka having the stones to actually dare broach the topic with a known Petty vindictive SOB who throws his staff and of the bus at the slightest provocation or perceived insult to his ego.

Third, even if there was anyone who thought Trump's resignation was for the best for the Republican party and actually had the courage to risk the mango Mussolini wrath by broaching a, they have to know him well enough to understand he would never ever ever ever consider such a suggestion, and that's it would be a completely Moot and unnecessary risk.

For all those reasons, I just don't see this as being true. I would love to hear names named even if it weren't direct quotes
