Well Dems need 4 Senate seats to win. Colorado, Maine and Arizona are favoured to go dem but they just need one more to get the Senate along with a Biden victory

It's a real shame that a FF like Doug Jones will be replaced by an idiot like Tuberville.

42% is the same as Cory Gardner in his last two or three polls.

Unfortunate. Purple AL was fun while it lasted.

It was inevitable. This poll is very plausible, and a Tuberville win by low double digits, similar to those of Cramer and Blackburn in 2018, wouldn't surprise me. At least Jones looks like he will outperform Walt Maddox, who got 40.39% against Kay Ivey in the 2018 gubernatorial election.

Still not willing to write him off, but few things must be more humiliating than losing as an incumbent Democrat in the midst of a historic Democratic tidal wave. I値l definitely give him credit for not even pretending/faking to care about Republicans/conservatives like Manchin, though. If I had to pick one red state Democrat to stay in the Senate, it would be him (not Manchin/Tester/Brown).

Doug Jones is a massive FF and too good for Alabama.

I hope he has a place in Biden's cabinet.

There's nothing humiliating about it.  Doug Jones worked an absolute miracle to win this state in the first place.  Nobody, not even him, expected to be able to hold it.

Losing as an incumbent Democrat in California or New York would be humiliating. Losing as an incumbent Democrat in Alabama is not.

Hm. You're right but.....Brown doesn't pull the Manchin schtick either.

It'd be the political feat of a lifetime if he even keeps Tuberville under 55%.

I think that's a POSSIBLE goal, but a lift. Winning is off the table of course.

Yeah, stick a fork in Jones, though I always suspected we壇 only get this seat for three years and that Jones would lose quite badly. Pretty much Safe R, at this point.

Jones will be forever an American hero for keeping a pedophile out of the US senate.
