I'd really prefer that we actually have the official poll release on this, but assuming the math is correct, that is an exceptional result.

LMAO

CNN jumps around so much I wouldn't be surprised to see their next poll in a couple of weeks be something like Biden +7, and everyone freaking out of course.

You realize Biden +7 is still not good for Trump right...

Did I imply that I think Biden +7 is good for Trump? What I was saying is, the dam’s already broke and this poll AND the NBC/WSJ poll are outliers.

So much winning. He must be getting tired of all the winning.

SSRS is a very bad pollster unfortunately and would rather have other pollsters to potentially confirm the NBC/WSJ poll, which might be a bit bullish on Biden.

Undeniably good poll for Biden. I highly doubt he wins by 15%, but 55% isn't that outlandish of a number for him, considering it's likely he ends up with ~53% of the NPV.

There have been several post-debate polls showing Biden up double digits now, including in some of the higher quality polls. There is some indication Biden might have moved a point or two up and may now be somewhere around +10, in which case these would not be major outliers.

I really really hope we get a TX poll this week.

To paraphrase what I said in a prior thread:

The last 7 days remind me alot of 2008 when McCain briefly suspended his campaign due to the economic crash, leading to Obama breaking away in the swing states and narrowing the gap in AZ/GA/MO/MT/ND.

Of course, McCain's campaign wasn't broke, locked up in a hospital/White House or had a campaign staff who refused to return to work.

I'd also like to see quality polling of TX. If Biden's leading by 10 or more, he's almost certainly currently leading in TX.

It's as if the sympathy bump Trump wanted went to the other person.

I don't think Trump himself even wanted the sympathy bump, just Trumpists and Trumpdoomers on talkelections dot org slash FORUM.

It's a shame Indy Rep and Sir Woodbury still thinks it's a nail biter, and most blue avatars think IA and OH are safe R and Biden won them in 2008-12 and Tom Harkins was Senator. IA is going the way of CO, since our Congressional districts are Lean D

How did IndyRep end up on OC’s hit list?

CNN's polls are too inconsistent to have any credibility. They'll have a Biden +15 poll followed by a Biden +3 one and so on. SRSS is not a great pollster as others have pointed out.

The Early vote is going heavily for Biden anyways, the same day voting isn't gonna catch up to the pad Biden has

Indy Rep tries to lecture people on how IA and OH are red and he still thinks Collins is safe based on ME2  being a red district. That's so 2016, we won ME2 in 2018

Good top-line number for Biden naturally, although perhaps a bit of an outlier...

Aren't we supposed to be getting a few more quality ntl polls before too long?

Yeah, never thought I’d have to do this, but I’m ready to move VA from Tossup to Lean D.

Okay, strong lean D.

Iowa, ME2 are going the way of CO, since our Congregation is likely D at this point, ball 3 D's should push Greenfield over the finish line. iA had a Dem Senator named Tom Harkins, whose seat Ernst is temp filling until 2021. Ernst was down 12 in one poll

We just had NBC/WSJ and a week before CBS/NYT, Marist, and Monmouth.
I guess we'll soon get Pew.
