No, we have had diseases before and this isn't the last disease, that's why we still have the common cold. Get over it, already, we are living in a Covid environment now, things have changed, they may never return to normal

Asian countries uses mask and don't attend ballgames for yrs and they are fine with it. We must learn to adapt. It's not gonna get better.

NPB came in as the second-highest professional sports league in terms of annual attendance. Major League Baseball led all sports leagues in 2019 with over 68,494,895 million paying spectators over 2,430 games, but NPB had a better attendance by game average (29,300 vs 28,830).

It is always darkest before the dawn.  At least that's how I like to look at it.  Tongue

Next year has got to be better than this...

If Biden wins, next year will no doubt be at least somewhat better.  For starters, he'll implement steps to actually combat this virus rather than do nothing and hope for the best (Trump's approach).  He won't lie about it to the American people (Trump's approach).

  • 1863 - bloodiest year of the civil war
  • 1865 - civil war, Lincoln assassination
  • 1919 - Spanish Flu, start of Prohibition, Bloody summer had race riots, Massive labor strikes
  • 1934 - Dust Bowl, Great Depression
  • 1941 - December 7th
  • 1968 - RFK & MLK assassinations, My Lai massacre
  • 2001 - Sept 11th

Get real. Every year where we had slavery was orders of magnitude worse than 2020. Even through the mid-20th century all kinds of people were dying from things that kill barely anyone today.

It's one of the worst years of the 21st century for sure though.

The worst since the Depression, when human suffering was clearly much worse than it has been this year.
