That journalist should have beat him down to the ground for that. I know I would have.

Assaults on media look terrible. The man who slugged the photojournalist looks over 70. People 70+ can be as strong as you would expect from a bear of such size, but this is best left to the lawful authorities to adjudicate. I will say no more because this will surely be settled in a criminal court.

Don't let the muscular build fool you. Unless he is drunk, this man could already be going senile. Loss of inhibitions against violence is one possible indication of mental decay. I have seen this myself in my late father, who was in a nursing home recovering from a broken hip but threw a phonograph at nursing home staff... and another day (this made me cry, and I don't cry cheaply) he started to wrap the leash around our dog's throat. One or the other was going to get hurt badly. Needless to say I went home with the dog. My father was undergoing degradation of capillaries in his brain, and there went over eighty years of socialization. I could say more.

This man may be closer to a nursing home than to a prison cell.

He's the instant front-runner for the GOP Senate candidate 2024.

Violence against the media is Justified among the trumpets. Or at least more than forgivable.

Remember, if you support Trump, you support fascism. The facade is gone.
