Morning Consult appears to have done a snap poll following the news of Trump having COVID. The quick turn leads me to think we should take this with a huge grain of salt.

The only reason you give someone an experimental treatment is because the medical situation is so dire that you are willing to risk the side effects.  Is it time to consider a transfer of power to Pence?

plus even if Trump keep running his negative ads
most voters know about his current condition so Im not sure attack ads going after Biden fitness will be nearly as effective at this point

Given Trump is hospitalized, shouldn't the 25th amendment have already been activated? (even if only temporarily, like say, when Reagan was shot and had to be hospitalized)

Is it possible somehow he infects Manchin or Tester to try to give the GOP a free senate seat? Not sure how much they would come in contact with people related to the President, but that could be a real issue.

I don't get why the Dems try to be nice? It's clearly obvious the reps wouldn't do the same in reverse. I also wonder if he's really realizes unilaterally disarming himself in attack ads is a great idea.

Because they're running on the idea of a return to civility and normalcy this cycle, which a lot of people seem to like.
