I don't want to call him an HP because he's not horrible and he's certainly much better than most of the fools at the network he works for, but he still gives credence to a lot of bs right wing talking points and he did a pretty subpar job moderating the debate so...HP?

That the debate last night went on to become such a disgrace was Trump's fault, not his. I think he should have pressed more on stuff like the tax returns, but overall he's a good guy.

His moderation of last night's debate was maybe a career low point for him, but I just don't think he anticipated how combative Trump and Biden would be.

I agree fully with this. Chris Wallace should not be blamed for the disaster that was last night's debate; the blame falls primarily on the shoulders of Donald Trump. Wallace didn't have the tools-such as cutting microphones-that might have helped him rein Trump in, and he tried his best with the situation as it was. Last night's debate should not be allowed to detract from his whole body of work.
