Light blue: Been there
Dark red: Never been there
Yellow: Airport only (MI, PA, GA)/just briefly drove through (NY, on the way to Niagara Falls)
Light red: Been there, but while I was too young to remember it (in Nebraska that's NE-02)

The only way I win is if ALL possible "been to" states are counted, ignoring all technicalities. So that includes blue, yellow, and light red, totaling 274 EVs.

Landslide, in no small part due to California, Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois and Pennsylvania.

Blue states are the ones I've never been to, Safe R states are the ones where I've spent at least one full night. Lean R states are the ones that I've driven/taken a train through, or in the cases of Colorado and New Mexico, been to the Four Corners.

Not sure what the next will be - maybe Iowa or New Hampshire if I work on a 2024 presidential campaign. Either way, I think Alaska and Hawaii will be among the last.
