I always order the smallest steak available (so almost always filet) if I am eating steak, because I don't really like steak (so many other foods I would rather eat when eating out) but want to appease whatever redneck asked me to go to a steakhouse because it probably means I'm getting money out of him.

And I would never order a side salad at 90% of restaurants, partly because the dressing is usually horrible, and in the South, you might get soup. I'll order a side of spinach or broccolini or something.
