The timing of the NYT political hit piece is very suspect. If you have to question the timing, you have to question the motives. If you have to question the motives, you have to question the ‘facts.’

Liberals are so afraid they will lose this election, that they bring out their most standard of dirty tactics.

Wouldn't have happened if Trump had just released his taxes........

Karma is a bitch.

It's pretty much confirmed that the information in the article is accurate. Trump is not providing alternate numbers for his tax payments, so the $750 seems correct.

I know I don’t give a damn, and I’m pretty sure the public doesn’t either. If you think this changes anything, you’re fooling yourself.

I most want to know to whom he owes the 421 million $. The answer(s) would explain a lot of things he does or doesn't do in office. The bad news is that Trump would remain a national security threat even after leaving office. I mean he had access to Top Secret material and would remain compromised even as former prez.

I expect there to me links to the Saudis (which is already known) and to Russian oligarchs in Putin's circle. That would explain why he has turned a blind eye to Putin putting bounties on the heads of American soldiers. However, I think he also coddles up to autocrats because he admires them and inspires to be like them, where is no check on their power whatsoever.

Do you think it was unfair then for Director Comey to send a vague letter to Congress on October 28, raising the possibility without evidence that Secretary Clinton had broken the law?

Republicans think Trump having to sit through a few tense meetings with IRS lawyers over the tens of millions of dollars he fraudulently avoided paying is a historic injustice

But some black teenager getting shot in the head by a cop for slipping a pack of $1.99 Hostess cupcakes in his pocket at the Circle K is fine because WE'RE A NATION OF LAWS.

That's a bit hyperbolic. After all, as a general rule police are not snipers, so they should stick to body shots, not head shots. But then, like most Democrats you know nothing about guns. /s

I'm curious how these ended up being so close to each other, and how $750 repeated exactly in 2 different years. Like did they decide $750 is a good number and so stopped claiming losses once they hit that? Huh

He actually owes over a billion, at least. (If I understand correctly the $421 million is the debt he has coming due before 2025.)

Forbes adds it up: Trump has $1.1 billion in debt

But so it goes with every Trump scandal:

1) Trump scandal breaks.

2) Trump supporters: It's not true.

3) Everyone else: It's true.

4) Trump supporters: Ok, fine, it's true, but it doesn't matter.

I've spent at least twice more at 3 Annual Hot Wheels Collectors Nationals Conventions combined then Donald Trump has with his taxes in two years.

The long version:

1. Scandal happens

2. Trump cultists: It didn't happen

3. Everyone else: It happened, Trump admitted it on tape

4. Trump cultists: Ok, it happened, but it's not illegal, because he wouldn't have admitted it

5. Everyone else: It clearly is illegal

6. Trump cultists: Even if it was, it's not a big deal.

7. Everyone else: It is a big deal.

8. Trump cultists: But Obama, Biden and Hillary did X and Y...

9. Everyone else: No, they didn't do that.

10. Trump cultists: Ok, but it doesn't matter anyway.

Trump also shows with this how little he cares about the Policy/Fire and Military he claims to love so much. No taxes from him means less to support them! Must mean Don Don hates America!

Maybe they assumed as long as he owed some taxes it would be less likely to get audited than if it were zero.
