i mean this is old news by now he can just say he went around the tax laws that could of been changed by obama/biden admin but they did nothing

Even if it's technically legal for him to pay so little tax, it doesn't make it right. He has an obligation to support the rest of society, that helped make him so successful in life. He doesn't care about other people, he just sees ordinary working people as chumps who should have to pay more instead or get less from their government.

$750 is less than a 1 bedroom apartment most places.

Well yeah, or you can quote Trump himself saying in the 2016 presidential debate that not paying taxes "makes me smart".

But ... I read on the Atlas Forum [now known as Talk Elections] that Harry Reid lied he said Donald Trump had paid $0 in taxes for years.

This could just be the tip-of-the-iceberg.
I wonder how much detail of his exact income, deductions, losses, etc., The Times have?
The numbers and "analysis" (by media tax experts) of his tax return, could be slowly dropped over the next 5 weeks.
Beautiful!

Not shocked at all by the details, but I am shocked that this is finally being confirmed. I really thought he would be able to keep these things under wraps for his whole term.

What about the other billionaires like Jeff Bezos and others? They pay their employees like crap while they are racking in millions in gains weekly. They use the government to their benefit - the rich are benefited by the government tax laws which need to change and nobody in the past has tried to change it. this isn't trump's problems its a problem that needs to be fixed. Do i think this helps Biden? Probably not

I know we’re not supposed to be driven by ~emotions~ here, but this makes me irrationally angry.

Who cares? Everyone knows he's corrupt, even his supporters. This is all baked in.

Absolutely disgusting. The NYT continues to intrude on Trump's privacy and personal life - why can't they just focus on policy? He's under enough pressure and stress as it is. The folks over at the Times need to learn a little decency.

Not buying these crocodile tears.  Trump has had the National Inquirer go after all of his political enemies with outright lies and BS.  Shining light on Trump being a con man is not an intrusion into his privacy as PRESIDENT OF THE US.

"Jeff Bezos" is not The President Of The United States.
End of story.

Ok LINO. Apparently privacy isn't something we libertarians value anymore?

That's a hard argument to make at this point. The reporting shows he's a pretty bad businessman and the bills are coming due.

Sarcasm, I hope?

The New York Times is one of the few organizations I have a lower opinion of than the GOP.

How dare they harass an unsuccessful businessman like Donald Trump.

Precisely. "Don't punch down" is the golden rule of comedy.
